FCC Directive Re: Robocalls
On July 21,2022, the Federal Communications Commision (FCC)..."announced that the Enforcement Bureau has ordered phone companies to stop carrying traffic regarding a known robocall scam marketing auto warranties." I guess T-Mobile is not in compliance with this order because I continue to get these auto warrant scam calls daily...today I received 19 of them.
Has anybody tried to point this out to T-mobile and, if so, what was their response? Gracias.

T-Mobile is very proactive about countering SCAM callers. I think what the FCC is trying to go after are the carriers who facilitate the origination of SCAM calls. Not carriers like T-Mobile who are their target. .

Keyword is KNOWN. There are a set of numbers all carriers have that are known to send spam/scam calls. The list grows, and spoofing happens. IF they did what you expect if your number was spoofed then you get blocked when calling then what will you do?

seeing as how the scammers usually spoof numbers its kind of hard to tell if its legit or not.. anywho..did you call TMO and ask them yourself?
