Ho to habe two SIMs for two devices (only one active at a time) under same phone number?

I believe this https://www.singtel.com/business/support/faq-closure-of-multisim article properly explains the situation (perhaps T-Móvil ought to have a similar article) and we would have had a much shorter discussion! So it seems that what I asked used to be very reasonable before but not so anymore!
Thus I'll rest my case (at least for now) as I need to study and understand why the 5G system imposed the limitation to the simple (single device at a time) scenario I intended to do. Meanwhile perhaps you can investigate if there's some way of having an abridged (i.e. much less expensive) version of DIGITS that accomplishes what I intended to do or if you uncover a solution to the 5G dilemma.
Thanks so much,
Georg
GSMA would need to set a standard for this to work. They have not as of 3G being retired moving forward to do such things. Since everything is a data line and not a voice line anymore.
You only option is to switch sims when you want to change devices.
