How do I check if my account was in the breach?
T-mobile recently announced a data breach and right about that time all of my information attached to my account had significant amounts of intrusion. It took me over a week to move everything over to a new secure email address.
With my email they got access to a lot of my other accounts and with the combination of my credit card information and email they were able to intrude my credit card's account and attempted to redeem my rewards on a bunch of Victoria's Secret gift cards.
I'm very sure this is a result of their data breach, I haven't done much with my email and that credit card was relatively new. Is there some way to verify if my personal information was breached?

I don't even remember a data breach for T-Mobile. Now, I'm kind of curious if my info was involved. I was a merged customer from Sprint.
I'd recommend locking your credit score, so if anyone does try to use your SSN, you have it locked. They'd have to take further steps to unlock it, which they likely would not.

My information was taken on the data breech however i was never notified by anyone until around a momth ago when macfee found it and notified me of the breech and that my info was in fact on the dark web as a result of the breech. There are more and more issues still coming to light as a result. But i have had fraudulent things done with my info. Including a tax return i never filed from 2022.

It was. That's why T-mobile is giving away secure wi-fi and Like 2 dollar Macafee. There will be more to come. Just depends on what info they got. Change everything like yesterday, better safe than sorry.
Absolutely, I changed the passwords/pins on everything the moment the first alert came through on my credit card. Then I changed the emails on everything just in case. I made a whole new set of emails too, I wasn't sure how deep the intrusion went but wasn't going to risk it. Froze all my cards (dependants included) and replaced them. I did a clean sweep of everything.
I even changed my info out on Steam and various streaming platforms. The only thing that is the same on all of my accounts is my name. It took me a fair amount of time to do all this but it's worth it if I dodged identity theft or other potential account intrusions.
You mentioned they were giving away secure WiFi?

Usually Tmobile will contact the accounts that were breached.
