I canceled my T-Mobile before and was sent a bill
So I canceled my T-Mobile either the end of July. My last bill was July 5th. I will send a bill of $103 in August and then a bill for $82 in September. I've been meaning to call but I've been very busy with school and full-time work. Today I received a bill for my debt collector for $82 because a T-Mobile. What is happening? I was told by the representative I wouldn't be charged again after I canceled. So why was I charge twice? And then one of them sent to a debt collector? I'm extremely furious.
THere are 2 dates when it comes to cellular service. If you cancel on a use cycle and already paid the previous bill it will show a 0 balance. If you cancelled during a billing cycle YOU will ALWAYS have 1 more bill because you are in a use cycle.
For example my plan resets on the 14th of every month. My bill is due every 30th. See the 16 day difference? If I cancel after the 14th I have 2 weeks of actual usage of the following month. So if you paid you bill it will show 0 balance. Often when reps or people see 0 balance they often assume no bill.
You need to cancel a couple of days before the billing cycle ends. If you cancel a day after you will get charged a entire month since they don't prorate the final month.
Then why did the representative tell me I wouldn't get charged the day I canceled it? And why was I charged for two different months?
Don't know, with the churn of of now people are quitting they probably weren't properly trained. Try contacting tmobile support using messenger on one of tmobile's social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter to see if they can help you they also are a higher tier of support.

I want to remove my lines b4 the end of my billing cycle but on the phone they said they can’t it has be removed on a certain date
You are in the use cycle. It'll drop after that and you'd get the bill for that use cycle.

There is an overlap in the cycles. You paid for last cycle while in the middle of the new cycle.
