Pay off EIP early & bill credit

I got my new iphone 7 with the iphone trade up promo (I traded in iphone 6s) that I can receive bill credit for 24 months to eventually bring down my phone cost to 0. But I am wondering if I pay the EIP balance off early now while still keeping that line active, will it stop me from receiving bill credits for the remaining 22 billing cycles? Or I will still receive the remaining 22 months bill credit?

Thanks for answering

  • Hey there 馃槉 If you pay off the EIP early you will still receive the monthly bill credits for as long as you maintain the other promotion eligibility requirements like keeping the line active.

I been with T-Mobile a little over 10 years myself and you are right , you have to stay on it and be persistent and I鈥檝e always use chat, twitter reps are very efficient I鈥檝e found and will only seek support there, I do not recommend paying off your EIP early , because your do not get the full amount of credit , your credits from T-Mobile have taxes and fees that reduce what is actually credited to the bill, for example my credits were 29.17 a month, after fees and taxes the credit applied to the bill was $19.21, i had the iPhone 11 promo I traded a iPhone 8 Plus and $600 credit in 24 payments .paid the phone off to upgrade , I had jump but a year into the payments I was told if I used jump it would forfeit my remaining credits , when before I was told if I add the jump option later on after making so many payments I could upgrade and pay such and such amount, But they didn鈥檛 mention you鈥檇 be forfeiting your remaining credits so I ended up paying the second year for $350, my credits amounted to $230.50,
