SCAMMED by tmobile call centers?!
Is tmobile scamming people for returning phones? Long story short. I got a tmobile family business plan. I received 4 lines. I started to get spam callers, so I switched to a different phone number. As I also got a jump update to a s24 at the time. Received the phone, but would not receive picture messages. Went to a tmobile store, the guy spent 1 hr trying to fix it. Didn't fix it. Suggest to send another phone in. Doesn't work. I go to another store. They don't fix it. I call tmobile, and they were able to fix it remotely. By me, calling in?
Then, I call in to ask for a return label for the first s24 I got. The lady on the phone tells me it's OK, I don't have to send the phone back. I said this sounds fishy. I don't think I'm supposed to keep this phone. And then decides to say don't worry. Doesn't give me no shipping label. Fast forward weeks later.. they charge me for not sending the phone back. So of course, I call them, and then they said it's OK, and they would process a return label. Got that done, sent it back, get a refund, and then immediately get slapped with the charge.
I called in to ask why am I being charged for a phone I sent back? They said I took too long to return the phone, after I explained everything that happened. Still says no refund and they can't do anything about it. Is this what they do now at these call centers is scam people? I disconnected and left to att. Paid my remaining balance, just for them to slap me with another bill that I haven't even been using the account. This is straight up SCAM. I've been a customer with them for 10 years. Never had this happened to me before. And I've traded into many phones since the galaxy note 5. I will never use tmobile again. I will be doing a charge back with my bank. They told me if I did that, they will still send it back to collectors. What kind of non sense is this? Happen to anyone else?
