unauthorized request to change voicemail pin
I just received a text reporting that I had requested a new PIN for my voicemail. Problem is that I did not request it nor have I ever had one. (I don't want one now either! ) Should I worry about this being a scam or scam attempt?

The same thing happened to me. I received a text at 4 am and I have been trying to contact customer support services. I have been waiting 18 minutes and they still have me on hold.

So now we can assume that numerous people were sent this text. My husband did not get it on his phone but I did at 4 AM. I have been on hold for 57 minutes so far. If anyone finds out more about this, please post! ¡Gracias!

ok so i got thru after 1 hour and the rep is telling me not to worry about, So she said the unlock code for the phone is completely different than the password for your voicemail. (that was my question) I told her i choose not to have a password for my voicemail. She insisted that nothing was hacked. This wasn't a scam. So the message we all got was about putting a password on your voicemail in the event your phone was stolen But the person would have to get your secure pin code first and besides that my voicemails are totally not interesting!
If anyone hears something different please do post!
