Unusable Virtual MasterCard
Hi, T-Mobile Community; I am frustrated beyond imagination and this is my last stop before heading towards the Better Business Bureau. I am unable to get any answers and at this point in time, I'm out a nice chunk of money.
I cannot access the funds on my 'Virtual MasterCard' that I received as a rebate for paying off my phone and joining T-Mobile. I was told to contact the company (NorthLane) and provided a phone number (just a phone tree, no chance of reaching a human being) and a website where I left a message and no one has gotten back to me.
I need to be able to get the funds off the 'virtual MasterCard' and back to my bank from where I paid off my phone. My bank will only take PHYSICAL cards, not virtual. I'm left with a large debt (that I'm paying interest on, btw) and no way to access the funds promised me.
I cannot find any number, team or body at T-Mobile that I can speak with to elevate this issue and I’m afraid I have made a terrible mistake leaving my previous carrier for T-Mobile.
Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction of someone I can discuss this with?!?
After finally getting to someone who knew what to do, I was directed on how to transfer the digital MasterCard amount to my bank account. The process has been started and takes up to 3 business days to process. If it works, I am OK with the solution. You need to call 888-390-6867 for the right department at TMO.

I received multiple virtual debit cards over the years with Tmobile and my usual MO was to purchase Amazon gift cards and that has always worked. However on my last one for a home internet line I did the same thing, but when I logged back in to check my balance, I noticed an option to transfer funds to my bank account using ACH. It's there, but I don't know how it works. I wish I would have tried it and would like to know if anyone has and how it went.

I was ready to sign up for their 5g internet service but after reading all these complaints I'm having 2nd thoughts. Other than the $200 rebate issue, it's the service good? Any better than the cable company?

I just joined this week. Having some definite CSR issues with getting addons and that sort of thing (we did internet and phone service at once). But as far as internet, it was dead simple to set up, even a mesh network and I've gone from sporadic 20mbps service over phone line to over 700kbps! I'm very rural so this was a pleasant surprise. We do get frequent very short drops (like 2-3 sec) that I am trying to resolve, but very happy to say goodbye to my DSL service.
I joined last week and have to say that I'm very happy with the service. Very fast speeds and incredibly simple to set up. I didn't have the $200 promotion but did get the $30 monthly for internet which is so much cheaper than my cable co. The best part of this was the joy I felt telling the cable company to take a hike. I felt so trapped being unable to escape their constant price hikes.
Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty I'm free at last. 😁
