ATT unlock

I currently am a TMobile customer. I would like to purchase a Galaxy S9+ with 5g connectivity. TMobile doesn't offer this. Can I purchase an unlocked ATT tablet (from Ebay) and use it on TMobile network.

    You can but it lacks some bands for 4G.  VoLTE might not work and WiFi Calling will not.  If VoLTE does not work, you will not be able to make and receive calls as a compatible implementation of VoLTE is required for your device to make and receive calls on the T-Mobile network.  

     

    Considering how old that device is and that it is so far beyond the support window.  Apps like T-Life will not work on a version of Android that old and a lot of banking apps will not either.  You would be better off buying something from Blu, which are really affordable devices and built with todays networks in mind.
