Charges for connection
Why was I charged a connection charge when I upgraded my phones.
ridiculous! I bought a Pixel direct from Google and popped the sim in it Monday, no problem, no fee. But, I don't like the Pixel 9 Pro, for reasons..
So, I thought it was time to finally make the iPhone switch, but I guess I am purchasing direct from Apple, I have been with T-Mo for 21 years and never paid a 'connection' fee. I am not starting now, it's insane.I just did an upgrade through Best Buy in November and wasn't charged an upgrade fee. BTW, Verizon and AT&T do the same thing.
Not sure why we are being nickeled and dimed. I am a T-Mobile customer wanting to buy a new phone that is almost $1,000; and I will be charged an additional $35 to "connect" to T-Mobile? This fee is ridiculous and is not a customer service focused. This is Executive Pay focused. I will be going to another carrier. TODAY.
It's a new fee that started November 3rd.
