Issue with setting up visual voicemail on Samsung s21

I touch VVM app and touch activate. Gives me error saying to check my internet connection. I am on T-Mo network with excellent signal. Also tried to set up by holding 1 the asks for password. Not set up so no password. Any thoughts?
