Pixel 8 screen issues

Hi everyone. I'm new to the boards. Has anyone had any issues with the Pixel 8 where the screen goes, what is best described as, "green snow"? It has happened several times in the past 3 months. It goes away eventually but it has been happening more frequently lately. I've called tech support and apparently this is a known issue but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a fix that T-mobile doesn't know of. Any help or info would be appreciated. Have a great day people.

  • Update for the people having the "green snow" issue. Before I had mine replaced I found that if I pressed on the screen in two places, usually the top and bottom of the screen, it cleared up immediately. In my case it appears to have been a loose connection between the screen and whatever sensor or lead or wire it connects to. I hope this helps and I hope it helps you save some $$$.

Thank you but no joy. It's gotten to the point where it is happening several times a day. It happened while I was typing this post. I'm getting it replaced. Asurion actually did it for free....well $5 really, but I could live with that. I'm just sick of it. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow (Thursday) and I could kiss this problem goodbye. This is my 1st pixel and so far I'm not impressed. Thank you everyone for your tips and suggestions as well as your support. ✌️

This is my 2nd pixel phone in 9 months. The first one was a battery issue, could only use wireless charger, now this one has the "green snow" screen. Tmobile isn't helping me, just giving me a run around. Saying talk to this person and then that prson says to go in store. but then the store says talk to someone else. I am within warranty. I have tried the google steps. It keeps getting worse and has been really bad for 2 days now. Tmobile wont even give me a straight answer. They say after the holiday weekend they will call me back. really doubt it.
