second phone
I have a second phone on my account its an iPhone. I dont have the password to log into that phone. How can I get the text messages from the second phone? Nothing shady going on here. The phone was purchased for my mother and she is unable to log into the phone. I'll stop there.
The best way to get those text messages is to view them on the device. Whether or not they are backed up in the persons Apple Account is completely different. Figuring out the password or using the option to bypass it in their Apple account would be the best ways. If they device isn't set to back up those messages, the only way to access them would be on the device.

She isnt savvy enough to back up on the cloud maybe it was set to automatically back up. who knows.

All I'm trying to do is get the text messages from the phone. Will those be lost if it's unlocked?
You might be able to rotely unlock it through their Apple account. T-Mobile can't bypass the password, PIN, fingerprint, or face unlock on devices.
