Text code 128 and 2300
HI,
In the last the code 2300 and 128 have been popping up on my usage as text messages. Please provide information as to what these codes are? The 2300 is 8-10 in a row at times.
2300 code is letting you know that it's a message block, not sure on who's end. 128 turns your Binge on, on or off depending on the what you enter in the text. BON or BOF.

When I say the timing is the same, I am accounting for that 3 hours.

I too am very curious about the incoming 128 text message. I do know and have confirmed this with other text messages, that the incoming time of the text message is off by 3 hours. So if a text shows incoming at 1pm on the usage log, the actual time it was sent was 4p. The usage log is 3 hours behind. The 128 is showing on three of my lines, two are teen/kid and the other is the spouse. I have gone through the kids phone and I cannot find the correlation of the incoming 128 with their logs. Something is not setting good with me on the spouses incoming 128 message and times they are coming through. I would really like to know what the 128 is. T Mobile was zero help when I inquired about this with them.
The timestamps on your usage log are shown in Pacific Time so if you Eastern time, a 3 hour time difference is normal.

Same thing here. I think they are some type of notification when a message is blocked. Recently found out spouse has been in communication with someone from past and I believe these codes are related to that communication. Let us know if you find out more.

Well my husband is getting these codes 2300 and 128 at 3, 4 and 5 in the morning, so that tells me they're nothing good. I will find out for sure and let you all know because I will go thru his phone when he gets home.

I’m getting this code and I don’t have binge on any lines on my account.
In a text message? Well what does it say?

I can see that my husband is checking voicemail #123 and on the text log it shows he received a text from #128. He will check VM even though he didn't get any calls. The dates and times of the #123/#128 match up. I'm not sure if he is having our landline forwarded to his cell. He is up to no good lately. Can anyone explain this correlation?

I am not messaging anyone incognito . Someone said it may be a number that was blocked that T-Mobile blocks before it getting to your phone. I could see that being the case.

I see the 128 coming through on spouses phone in clusters at times when I'm not around. I wonder if it's texts from an Apple Watch or some other communication platform. It sounds like there could be multiple reasons for this so don't panic. But in my case, I think it's messaging incognito. Good luck. Hope we can get to the bottom

2300 shows up on my phone messages whenever I get a message from the Doordash app. So maybe it's is app communications. 128 I have no idea because it was on my bill today at 5:30 pm today and I had no messages or voicemail alerts. T-Mobile should be answering these questions rather than all of us having to speculate.
