Text code 128 and 2300
HI,
In the last the code 2300 and 128 have been popping up on my usage as text messages. Please provide information as to what these codes are? The 2300 is 8-10 in a row at times.
2300 code is letting you know that it's a message block, not sure on who's end. 128 turns your Binge on, on or off depending on the what you enter in the text. BON or BOF.

We are getting 2300 on our log every minute and sometimes 2-3 times per MINUTE. According to the customer service rep it is a message engineering tool. He couldn't tell me where it's coming from or who is using it. My husband is in a coaches chat and I am thinking it is a group text code. I'm yet to find out what 128 is though.
I would love to know what you find out because it’s on my husbands line atleast 20 times a day!

We get the same thing on our usage. We also get 128, 127, 2300, 91703, 50449, it's so annoying because it feels deceptive either on the company's part or the person who we are in partnership with. This needs to be explained so people can have a piece of mind of what is being input and output of our devices.

Also see 128 on our phone log for spouse's phone. On another thread someone mentioned it was from What's App, but have no clue how that happens.

It is 100% NOT A WHATSAPP code. I'm sorry if someone gave u the wrong idea. It's not that salacious lol. I believe one of the two text codes (almost positive it's the 2300 since it's only ever a incoming text) is when T-Mobile text you the voicemail you received, the one they automatically send and most all of us use to see n hear any voicemails. And that's definitely new that it's recording it on our usage log. The other one (128 I'm 99% sure) is when someone you've blocked (doesn't need to be a specific #, it could be any text T-Mobile detected as spam), so if you have spam blocker on you do not receive a text but they are showing up on the usage regardless. I blocked my husband and then had him text me. And the next day I checked and it aligned w the time he texted.

Code 2300 why is this showing up all of the sudden and we need to know more about it! Code 128 is showing multiple times in a day… what makes this show up? Video calling… or what?? Or are both of these just a glitch they are working on?
My husband gets 2300 message when he receives church group messages. The 128 has me confused as well

I see the 128 coming through on spouses phone in clusters at times when I'm not around. I wonder if it's texts from an Apple Watch or some other communication platform. It sounds like there could be multiple reasons for this so don't panic. But in my case, I think it's messaging incognito. Good luck. Hope we can get to the bottom

I am not messaging anyone incognito . Someone said it may be a number that was blocked that T-Mobile blocks before it getting to your phone. I could see that being the case.

I can see that my husband is checking voicemail #123 and on the text log it shows he received a text from #128. He will check VM even though he didn't get any calls. The dates and times of the #123/#128 match up. I'm not sure if he is having our landline forwarded to his cell. He is up to no good lately. Can anyone explain this correlation?

When I say the timing is the same, I am accounting for that 3 hours.
