Voicemails being "Deposited into text"
Our family recently transferred to T-mobile. We all have iPhone 12 Max.
Since transferring to T-Mobile all of our voicemails we receive are also being “deposited” into our texts.
I have searched the internet, T-mobile site, and this community trying my. best to find out how to stop this from happening.
Does anyone know how to stop this. It is filling up my phone storage!

OMG me toooo!!!!! I found this page after I spent the morning on with 611 technical support from t-mobile because my calls were being dropped also. They resolved it but then had trouble figuring out why suddenly I was receiving texts from people as their voicemail before the voicemail even came in. Took a few trail and errors but they were able to disable the voicemail to text on their end (and only have normal voicemail transcribed like before in the voicemail section) and it worked (but took a lot of time).
But I read this after and this is obviously the quicker solution so I also changed the settings just in case also in the app.

Thank you so much, that was a super annoying and completely unwanted feature!

even funnier is the fact that this is something that you usually must opt into and not just auto added to everyones account.

I have been able to turn the voicemail messages off for the primary line, but how do I do it for the rest of the lines in my family plan? As soon as I click on 'Block Calls and Messages' it takes me to my main line, even though I have selected another line in the 'Profile Settings' page.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. When I turn on "T-Mobile Voicemail to Text Block", I still get the annoying text, but no longer get an actual voicemail I can listen to. Why T-Mobile? WHY?! ☹️

This doesn't work for me--I've had this set this way for a long time. The text transcription text messages started coming through a couple of weeks ago and they hadn't been. And it seems to delay Apple's voicemail and Apple's transcription. I called 611 on Friday and was told it had been fixed. It has not.
