Your map clearly show 5G coverage where I spent the day Saturday yet I had 0 bars, no service whatsoever. Also, 4 other guys that were with me that had T-Mobile also had 0 bars, no service whatsoever, and we all had different devices. All the other guys I spoke to said once they are out of highly populated areas they often get poor or no service. Please stop lying in your coverage map. Regardless, I'm done with your false claims and after my 2-year period I will be dropping T-Mobile coverage like yesterday's trash. You're service may be the least expensive of the big carriers but you consistently lie. Even at my house that shows clearly in 5G UC zone I have one maybe two bars of LTE. Your shenanigans not only lost you a customer but an advocate. I will never advocate for your service because you've done nothing to remedy the situation except to make false promises.

    TMobile has been hamming its network coverage from at least the John Legere days, showing “Verified “ coverage where none exists

    TMobile currently advertises 5g + 4g LTE on Main Street,  Cambria,  CA, but has none, and almost immediately roams in Emergency service on At&t

    This I didn't want to read. I'm new to T mobile and am having connection problems at my home. I switched from Verizon because my new Galaxy S 22 Ultra could not connect while I was at home unless I use wifi. Didn't have this issue with my older Galaxy S10+. The coverage area map and T mobile representative clearly shows 5g at my home. I'm trying to determine if this is a phone problem or a network issue. 

  • Outside of Indianapolis, and even in very popular suburbs I have low or none Tmoble service unexpectedly. AND when checking the coverage map it clearly shows great service… which is non-existent in the real world. Because of my work have many examples (Frankfort, Whitestown, Spencer, west Carmel). Sadly, I believe this company cares more about its investors than its customers.

    Many areas are 'wishful thinking'.  T-Mobile's US based advanced technical support has basically confirmed that the 'coverage map' is more for sales than reality.

    I’d recommend looking at the FCC’s latest maps, or cellmapper.net for more … accurate maps.

    Even though I’ve been told … in writing, that T-Mobile’s maps are “accurate” and coverage exists where none can be found, they will always add the caveat of 

    “We don’t ‘guarantee’ (sounds like the price lock reference) service anywhere any time”.

    The only way to take some rural areas as is … Assume that you are ~200’ above in a drone

    At least you have one bar I can't even get that and I've been told for five years that they were updated the tower however just a few days ago while I was on the phone with T-Mobile tech-support for the hundredth time I plugged in my address on the coverage map after I had another lovely Associate try to tell me that I was lying basically and I plugged it in and said I had full 5G  Coverage at my location. Well, after finally getting transferred to someone with half a brain Who actually took time to look at everything and clearly see that I get zero coverage where I am, and that the tower that has supposedly been in the process of being fixed, has never been in the process of being fixed. To top it off, I asked the supervisor why my location would show full coverage on T-Mobile's main page when I get zero coverage and they checked it and they had no explanation for that and thought it was misleading as well

    I've pinged, BBB'd / FCC'd / CAPUC'd T-Mobile on their coverage since John Legere days of '4G LTE "verified" service' since fall of 2015.  Still no service to this day, and the map shows '5G'.

    I only get Emergency SoS AT&T or Emergency SoS Verizon .. outdoors., and this is 9 years later.

    Reps have stated:

    • We’re undergoing modernization - it will be fixed in ~30 days
    • We’re building a new tower .. It will be fixed in 6 months
    • You’re in a difficult area - ‘foliage’ is blocking service (this is a desert)
    • You need a new phone, SIM
    • Advanced Tech Support: - You’re in a dead zone
    • Finally:  There are plans to enhance this area - ~3 years
    • Next:  There are no suitable sites to build
    • Finally:  We can port you to another carrier.  There are no plans to enhance service.

    A couple of months ago my daughter's service was discontinued due too much roaming. This was after an agent informed me that there was good coverage in her area. Because of this information I purchased an upgraded cellular. Shortly after the purchasing, I was informed that my daughter's service would be discontinued because of roaming.

    As you can see from the coverage map below, it shows that there is 5G service in the area. It is very misleading.

    Coverage is complex because some towers service, multiple companies, and some towers are dedicated to T-Mobile, or another company. I am fortunate in that there is a dedicated T-Mobile tower near my home, but, I have friends who find that they need to stay with another carrier because they have poor coverage in their particular location. While current phones still can get 4G at longer wavelengths, the whole issue of coverage becomes more of a challenge with the higher frequency 5G gets shorter broadcast range.

    I have been with T-Mobile because of that abhorrent technical support service by the other majors. I also travel out of country and find that T-Mobile has excellent coverage where I go.

    Don't worry too much about coverage maps, they are often inaccurate, even from speedtest.net. I'm really happy with the 5G service I get, and according to them, my neighborhood shouldn't get it.

    My service has been lacking or nonexistent for about a year now. I'll reset my wifi and phone and call TMobile to troubleshoot and get no help. The claim on the commercials from other service providers is that TMobile customers are being deemed as unimportant and so the service just cuts out. It's called 'deprioritized'. One associate from TMobile admitted to the tower not being close enough to provide me with 5G, the tower is also leased by TMobile by Verizon. They flatout told me to switch carriers haha.

    I recommend switching service providers, ATT told me they'll buy me out of my current contract with TMobile :)
