Home internet plus high upload low download
Issues that all started the moment I switched to Home Internet Plus. Ever since then, I've gone from generally fine speeds with the standard home internet plan to absolute garbage with this one.
Higher upload speeds than download speeds? What's up with that? Assuming it was a hardware problem, I had it replaced. The same issues. High upload speed, abysmal download.
Attached are the metrics of the router currently, as well as logs of my recent speed tests I've been doing over the course of the last few days. At first I thought it was placement, but I have no clue why sometimes the download speed would absolutely sore, like it did there near the middle of the speedtests...
The equipment I'm using is the white home internet plus gateway. KIT GATEWAY 5G TMO-G4SE BLANCO
Super disappointed considering service used to be flawless before "upgrading".

Your metrics are such that you should be getting better performance for sure. At first blush, it would look like your cell tower is over-subscribed. There is a chance though, that your cell tower is changing when you have bad performance. You might take note of you CGI number to see if it is changing around and can be correlated to the performance you observe. If you always get bad performance on a particular tower, you may be able to have that tower removed from your approved list by calling customer service.
