T-Mobile Message "The phone that you are using does not allow outgoing calls."
After changing a few settings on my T-mobile plan (unblocking Spam), I cannot call out of my iPhone. The message that I hear is "The phone that you are using does not allow outgoing calls." The message that people here when they try to call me is, "At the subscriber's request, they do not allow incoming calls." Yes, I have rebooted my phone. Yes, my bill is up-to-date. I cannot call out using Wi-Fi calling either. I can text. My son, also on my account, is having no issue; he also has an iPhone. Anyone have a solution? I rechecked the setting that I change on the website earlier and nothing looks strange.

Hola,
I could solve the issue to remove outgoing protection option(Business and Government outbound call Block) of "manage data, add-on benefit" on T-Mobile.

Did you happen to turn off VoLTE/VoNR? Can you make outgoing calls over WiFi?

Ive been unable to make outgoing calls for 2 weeks and tmobile as done absolutely nothing to find the root cause and provide a clear path towards a solution.
- removed SIM
- Reactivated sim multiple times
- Turned wifi calling off/on
- Spoke with tech support who have no clue what the issue is
These people have no clue what the issue is and how to fix it not even tech support its crazy b/c i cannot even make a call to the suggested number in the automation that pops up when i try to call. 611 doesn't even work so i had to resort to the chat prior to having anyone call me. the tech support rep had to take her lunch after trouble shooting with me for OVER 2 HOURS and now im stuck waiting for her to call me back...toooo im not even sure since not a single thing has worked. ive never had so many issue with a phone carrier and frankly never wanted sprint to merge with them for this exact reason, id rather deal with expensive verizon at this point!!!!!!!
Not being able to make calls kinda defeats the purpose of having a phone at all. What a pain that you have been dealing with for 2 weeks now.
You mention an automation that pops up when you try to call. Can you please share the exact message that you get? That is going to get us a pretty good distance when it comes to figuring out the problem.

Hi Katmirwal, did youbsolve your issue? I have the same issue on my samsung phone. Any advise can be provided?

Lol obviously. T mobile's customer service really sucks. No solutions. Try turning it off and on? Are we back in the 90's?! Should I blow on it too?

Have you tried powering off your device for a minimum of 5minutes to allow it to refresh its connection to the T-Mobile Network?

Was this ever resolved? I'm having the same issue but I changed nothing on my phone.

Hola @katmirwal Checking in on you. Have you been able to find what was causing the issue? It sounds like there may have been a call blocking feature added to the account when the spam blocking was removed. I would double check the account to make sure you don't have any blocking features on your line.
Let us know if you found what was going on so others know where to look if they see the same thing.

First: What model iPhone? Next: Are you on the T-Mobile network or roaming on another carrier's signal? There are various settings that could mess things up so that the phone can't call in or out. If all else fails, you could try a backup to iTunes and reset but this should be your last resort.
