T-mobile stole $228 from me

I placed on order for 2 sim cards to transfer my husband and I from AT&T to T-mobile. When I got the sim cards, they didn't work properly. I was upset because the process was not as simple as the salesperson I worked with had told me. I realized he lied to me to get me to place an order. I immediately cancelled my order and told them I didn't want to transfer my services to them afterall.

2 weeks later, they charged me $228. Those were some expensive sim cards! I never used their services at all. I called their customer service to tell them that I had not authorized this charge or used their services. They guaranteed they would have the charge reversed within a day. Instead, the charge moved from pending to posted on my bank account. I had to file a fraud claim with my bank. I will never again consider using T-mobile. This company should not be allowed to continue to operate. I posted a review with the BBB as well and will do everything in my power to inform people that this company is okay with stealing large amounts of money from working Americans.

The irony… that was +20 years ago.  I've had issues with every carrier.  Some are worse than others (Verizon).

I'm sorry that happened to you! It's crazy what companies are trying to get away with these days. I only wanted to switch from AT&T because of their recent data leak where they compromised my personal info. But honestly, I've never had service issues or customer service issues with AT&T. I'm definitely avoiding T-Mobile and appreciate you letting me know your experience with Verizon so I know to avoid them too. From now on, I'm just sticking to AT&T.

Kinda reminds me of my past with Verizon…. they actually attempted to ruin my credit.
