TMobile scam to give free device
Be careful with very unethical practice by Tmobile to give you free device and they will tell you it is free and will start charging you a service fee. Anyone have the same issues? When I was at the stores they did this to several customers. I should know better. I've been with Tmobile for a long time, after this bad experience, I can't trust Tmobile anymore. Maybe time to switch to a different company or find customers with similar issues and ask a lawyer to sue this company. It is not about the monthly fee, but it is about big corporation just get a way with unethical business practice by scamming customer.

I was scammed the same way. I was told I would get a $800 credit for new phone and I turned in old phone. They lie to you straight out charge you extra. They are thieves.

I too was scammed by a company full of liars. I was promised a free phone by a phone sales rep then charged. When I called customer service I was assured it was corrected and that the phone was in fact free. When I was charged again the next month I was told that there was never any such promotion.
It infuriates me!! So unfair!!!

I "think" I finally got some help. After filing a report through Convercent, I received a call from Marcus at the corporate office. I saw the adjustment to my bill while still on the phone with him! Hope they can help you too.

I found out that their customer service call center isn't very helpful but if you go back into the store where they promised you the promotion they can have a supervisor escalate the promo request. I am still waiting to see how it goes from there.

I went to get another phone because I dropped mine. That is when I learned I was under contract. I specifically told the rep that by no means did I want a contract. That was my very first statement, her response no problem. I told her my budget and I was also interest in home internet. long story short she gave me both at a affordable price. I was extremely happy. She told me the phone was free and when I get my bill in I will see a charge but to notice it will have a 0 balance, which it does. I learned a year later yes I am under a 2 year contract. I was pissed because this entire time I was under the impression that I purchased my phone out right. As long as you stay with tmobile the phone remains free to you but tmobile is paying for it. Whatever. I went into the store with the intention of purchasing another phone out right. The reps in the store kept telling me I had to pay the remaining balance on the other phone first. How stupid they thought I was. If I walk in the store to purchase a phone for the SRP and keep both phones not switching carriers, why would I have to pay the balance. Anyway when I contacted support all I got was an apology for the rep not explaining the policy. From reading the reviews it seems as all the reps fail to mention this policy. Coincidence? no not at all. They are told not to mention the policy. So therefore it is a scam. A scam to lock the customer in. Oh also the in store reps made a comment on how the phones they were selling had no promotions, insinuating I could not afford them. So I feel like after their big loss here recently they cant afford another one but this needs to be brought to the BBB or someone's attention.

The same happened to me I paid over a whole year another line because when I first got a line they told me I would receive a tablet if I open a wifi line I never received the tablet and about 6 months later I asked to have that line removed was told they couldn't do it I asked about 3 times with same response then finally on the 4th try someone helped me with it but already over a year I to want my money back never used that line at all but paid an arm and a leg for it
