Do I get a "no cost" exchange for a Arcadyan router
Do I get a "no cost" exchange for a Arcadyan router because the contacts on the power connector of the router are worn that it is not making contact with the connector of the power cord. I have pictures of the connector. It is not lose or broken or dirty. It is worn the tips of the gold contacts from simply plugging it in and unplugging it. I think that it was a poor design choice to put a usb-c data port right next to the usb-c power port on the router motherboard. Do you think every person plugs it into the correct port every time? That's not how you do it. I think there are several issues with this device but I'm not on the payroll. I'm sure someone has pointed them out already anyway. I'd sure like to exchange this defective router so I can get my Internet back again. Doesn't feel good paying for something that's not working.
You can give T-Mobile's Home Internet Support a call and they will send you out that replacement gateway at no cost.

Thanks Sayoran! I did call and I did get another router and wasn't charged anything for it so far. It boots up and connects to the router but doesn't go anywhere past that. I'll check with the store again. ¡Gracias!😄

If your provided router is not functioning correctly, Tmobile will send you a new unit at no cost. You don't own the equipment, but the "rental" fee is part of your monthly plan fees. Contact home internet tech support to start the process. One thing that you cannot do is request a specific model. Tmobile will send you whatever they have in stock but usually the same model for a defective unit replacement.
I have gone to the T-Mobile store here in town. They wanted to charge me $70 to exchange it for a working one. That is unacceptable. I will take that $70 bill to my grave!
