Anyone else experienced a PAID line being added to their account without your authorization, and then had issues with T-Mobile when trying to remove the added line and get a refund?
Upgraded and bought a new iPhone in a T-Mobile store on 04/22/2022 - I am unfortanely just now noticing after reviewing my yearly reports for tax season approaching, that there was a data line added to my services/bill on the same day, for an apple watch?! The charge was insignificant in cost enough for me to never notice too much of a difference, and the sales representative in the store explained to me the new bill amount and an increase being due to the monthly amount I would be charged for the iPhone payment plan option to pay month for a phone instead of paying in full.
I am now trying to have the line removed but the customer service dept. has only tried to tell me I am wrong and that I activated this on my own MONTHS prior to 4/22/22, which is so far from true. I have only ever used my apple watch on wifi/connected to my phone via bluetooth. After reviewing my usuage overview for 2022, each month shows the additional line and every month has 0.00GB of data used. I found this information through my t-mobile account but yet the customer service reps I've spoken to (which has been several now) all seem incompentent and unable to find similar information to show that this change was unauthorized.
In addition, the representatives only focus seems to be on conversion or a new sale, rather than doing actual customer service. What happens to customer service???
Anyone had similar experiences? What did you have to do to get T-Mobile to cooperate and help? Do I need to file claim with the Better Business Bureau you think?
Anyone filed with the BBB before, and if so, did you have any good results from it?
I just want a line removed and something credited to my account for the near year I have paid for a service I never signed up for or authorized, and it seems impossible.

It’s awful every single month

Yes in June they did this to me and I had them remove it when my bill shot up $75 they lowered my plan and every month my bill is $75 more per month. It was fraudulently added and now I am stuck with this company and spending hours on the phone with very little if any help. I feel that a class action is in store as well.

I feel like a class action lawsuit is in order. I bought a phone line for my son for his birthday and the guy at the store illegally added extra lines to my account causing my bill to go up fees added and now they refuse to fix I would live to make them pay anyone else?

So when i went into the store and set up an account i had just left Metro pcs, due to me being hacked over and over again. i told the T mobile rep. i wanted my same phone number and they told me i couldnt tranfer my same phone number. i got a phone anyways, i was given two receipts one for the sim card another for the phone on those receipts were my sim card # and the other had my imei #. i noticed that the man put my sim card in my phone then he took the thing that the sim card came out of and placed it under a phone that looks like a house phone the workers use. he wrote my phone number on a sticky note, i turned that sticky note over and it was right next to me on the table while i was setting up my phone. i noticed a lady came into the store and she was trying to pay here bill yet she had to keep going out the store to get her phone. She kept saying her son was on the phone. when i look up she place the thing my sim card came out of back on the table. then drops a sticky note with my phone number on it on the floor. i set my phone up put all the protections on there. walked out the store got in my car and couldnt get back into my phone. had to turn around and go back to the store. the manager factory resets my phone and when i go to put my password in for my email it says the wrong password. it was the right password i set it up a easy one. then the manager tells me i have to take the phone some where and pay to get it unlocked. probably a hour after getting the phone. the next day not even 24 hours went to another store told them what happened, i was told to go back to the same store. Went back to that same store told them i didnt want the phone or service, and the guy that was in there the night before told me he was calling his manager. then he says his manager said they are not returning the phone or stopping the service. Went back to the other store and got another phone that guy told me dont put a screenlock on the phone. and i didnt like a dummy, i had to go back to the store because i recieved a texted that my port protection was removed called in told them i didnt remove my protection, she also said my insurance was removed and my sim protection, i asked her to add it back. when i go into the store i asked the manager for a reciept of my original phone and the exchange on that receipt was 4 different phones, with different imei numbers and sim numbers. i called in because i had pulled out my sim card and looked at the numbers on my aim card and they were not on that receipt. So i took the receipt back into the store and told them that was not my receipt and to shred it. i had to go to another store because every time i set up a app and it is running and open, that app gets closed out and when i put my password back in to open the app. it would say wrong password. i set up the easy password for me to remember. my point is from the begining i was locked out my phone so i would have to get another phone, closing the app. down and having to log back in them having to make a new password that was the hackers to connect that phone i had to exchange in that i was locked out of. i noticed on my t mobile account there was another phone added to my account when i first signed up. basically they add that phone to your account and control your phone you have and all your accounts. how does one person use 95,000 worth of data. i found a IOHThidden menu app on my phone. now they are making me basically pay a bill for that other phone that was connceted to my account. there is alot more about the workers at tmobile i have incountered. T mobile workers where i live are setting up phones for people to be hacked. i done screen shotted so many pictures. only had been with t mobile for six months and the very first day there was problems. i had to get my pictures transfered over to a new phone i told the man in the store i just needed my pictures he hooks up a usb cord and downloads all the apps to. i told him i didnt want all those apps. i just needed my pictures, when he tried to set up my sim card he said he couldnt at first because there was a sim lock due to fraud, then he tells me i dont know why they put that on there. and he proceeds to say he is email to have it removed.

went into a tmobile store, the guy removed a app off my phone i didnt even know i had. found out that there is another phone with my phone number connected to my account. paid my bill each and every month, they took my credit and added to a manufactory warranty phone they all ready recieved. then adjust the manufactory warranty phone and never gave the credit back. phone was cut off August 30 due to them not removing the manufactory warranty phone. talked to a supervisor and she finally removed that phone told me my bill wasnt due to Sept. phone gets cut back on then they turn it off again. how you adjust the manufactory warranty phone and take the credit and add it to that phone that was returned. and never take my credit and add it to my bill. Superviors hanging up on me. had me down that i started my account in Feb. when i started in March. found a redircting phone call app on the phone. five after service Mcafee got multiple hits on the phone number.

When we added new accounts to my line 2 years ago, T-Mobile added home internet line for 30$. When asked they said it was an accident and they will remove it. I trusted them they would remove it. Since it was on autopay I did not check. Now that I identified that home internet line is still there for 2 years I called them and asked about it. They are now saying it's too long and we can only refund for 2 months. And more frustrating part is they sent me a email to return the device which we never got for a service which we never asked for and never used.
the rep was saying it was my responsibility to check the bill and notify them of any discrepancies.
as a customer am I responsible to check their work. How can this even be ethical. Looks like I am not the only one this is happening with. Does anyone on T-Mobile management even know this. Are they doing it in on purpose to meet their numbers for commission?

YES! This just happened to me and I just spent an hour on the phone with customer service and that got me nowhere. They told me to go back to the store to get a refund, but I don't understand why I couldn't get a refund over the phone right now?
