Paramount+ on Us Upgrades?

I registered for Paramount+ through the link provided by T-Mobile.  Everything seemed great.

After reading about the limits of Paramount+ Essentials I decided to pay for an upgrade to Premium.  But the amount I was billed didn't give me any discount at all from T-Mobile.

Is that correct?  I know it only allows for free Essentials, but I presumed it would be similar to Netflix, where we still get a discount off of the Premium Tier.

If it is correct, is that a Paramount restriction or a T-Mobile restriction?

I agree with all the above comments. I was initially excited about this promotional offer but stopped watching after a few programs with all the commercials. I would gladly upgrade but having to pay the full cost of premium is no benefit at all. $ would be better spent on another streaming service.

Hulu now has a Black Friday offer where you pay $1.99 a month for a year for the plan with ads.  It clearly states, though, any change of plans during that year will forfeit the $1.99 offer.  Well, at least they clearly stated that.

I have the same problem with streaming promotions--most don't allow you to keep the lower essential cost and simply add on the commercial-free plan.  I can't stand commercials and refuse to watch them.  Peacock, however, allowed for it to be done.  I'm paying $1.99 for the basic plan, instead of $4.99, and have the no-commercial plan for $4.99 added on to the $1.99. (The Peacock promotion wasn't through T-Mobile, however, as far as I remember.)

  • That's lame, the amount of commercials doesn't add up to the $7.00 a month I would have to pay not to have them. Please change this. Thanks

Esta oferta solo está disponible para el plan mensual Essential y no se puede aplicar a ningún otro plan de suscripción de Paramount+.
