Canceling Internet?

I live in MA and I set up home internet for my 80 year old mother in Texas. She ended up not using the internet so she tried to take the gateway back to the store to return it. They said I needed to call customer support (which I did a few days ago) and cancel the internet over the phone and then they'll email a shipping label that we can then take back to the store. Seems overly complicated, but okay. How long does it take to receive that email, the internet already shows canceled in my services, but I haven't received any confirmation or shipping label?

  • It was my understanding that they wouldn't accept it.It irritates me that even though I cancelled it they still tried taking a payment from my bank account.Thank you

    When I cancelled service, they let me return it to a t-mobile store.

  • Ha ha still waiting for my return box in the mail.Internet is still on and it's past the 14 day trial.I already talked to someone about a week ago.They said I would be receiving an email,so far still waiting .

    @Dave.Hyman79 sorry to hear of your trouble. I have not experienced the situation. I would expect it to take 7-10 days to receive a return box. Set a time frame you think is reasonable, then call customer support and follow-up or go into your local store and ask for help.
