Gateway shows wrong location

I've had the same issue for 2 years. I'm shown in Minnesota and I'm in Iowa. What's frustrating is, when I google a item I'm looking for, it will bring that item up in Minnesota so I have to manually change it. Also, I get email messages from my bank, Amazon, Pay pal and Facebook asking if it was me who logged in. Additionally last month it showed me in Miami FL.. What's the deal?
