OK so is there anyone out there having any issues with your phone being hacked with your Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5G? I have the phone, along with the "360 tech support" insurance plan also the McAfee suite, so I noticed two weeks ago that the phone started getting cut off.. and I been on the phone with tmobile almost each night trying to get this resolved. An I kept telling them I believe that I am being hacked, and they respond with "no, that can't happen, and trouble shooting each time I called when I was on hold for usually 20 minutes before they answer and then the trouble shooting would start. Anyway so we added an Esim, and my phone was fine for a couple of days then it the fuckery started again.. and I wouldn't get calls or messages, and so I called again and of coarse the hoops before I could get an answer. So I wiped for a new Sim and that went in and that night my phone was really messing up, like turning off no service at times ext and so yesterday evening I was cleaning and I had Spotify on playing some music when I heard a shuttering and at 1st I had thought it was the music but it wasn't.. whatever was snapping pictures. So my niece calls me, later I. The evening and said that I posted to Mt face book a photo to my story and I did not.. so something us going im still in this situation help anyone please..172Visto0likes3ComentariosUnlock pattern on Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G please
Please - need to know how to turn off or bypass pattern lock on Note 20 5G Ultra. My father unfortunately passed away and I know he has some great family videos/ pics as well as his email account to let his friends know of his passing. He has aNote 20 phone that is still connected to T-mobile, but I cannot access without the pattern design selected. How can this be reset or accessed without losing everything on the phone - it doesn't appear that customer service at T-Mobile or at Samsung know of a way which is incredibly worrisome for anyone that may lose a family member.Solved283Visto0likes5Comentariosproblem activating Galaxy 5 watch with Note 20 Ultra
I purchased the Galaxy watch 5 LTE model @ a Samsung store with the hopes of activating it with phone so they it can be used independently (for ex. If I went to gym with the watch I could leave my phone at home). I have spoken to at least 5 reps at t mobile and once I give them the IMEI they say the watch is incompatible and cannot get its own line. When I try to get a line through the wear app it tells me to call sprint/ tmobile. I called Samsung and they ensured me it should work just fine once tmobile links my watch to my phone services to share data, calls and texts. Tmobile says if i purchase the watch directly through them it will work but I do not want to do that and it honestly doesnt make sense that I would have to. I'm unsure as to who is right and if this is possible. Ayuda.Solved177Visto0likes2ComentariosWhy the heck can't I recieve the android 12 update for my Samsung note 20 ultra???
I have a at&t unlocked Samsung Note 20 Ultra and am on a Tmobile network plan, and it seems I'm unable to recieve the android 12 update even though the site claims it is complete and rolled out for my phone??? Can anyone tell me why that might be? I also noticed that when I try to search for an update, it doesn't even seem to attempt to search, and instead just immediately jumps to "you are on the current version" screen instead of a typical searching for update screen.267Visto0likes2ComentariosNote20 Ultra 5G Groups Texts Messaging issues after recent update
Anyone aware of, or noticing any issues with group texts on their Note 20Us (possibly any other Samsung device?) after the latest software update? I noticed that after the update, any group text chats via Samsung messages, doesn't keep the conversation in the group thread. In example, a group chat with 2 or more people, messages can be sent in the thread and devices on the receiving end get the message just fine within the thread, however, when anyone from that thread responds, instead ofgetting the message within that group thread, it comes to my device as separate thread message as if I am speaking with those individuals one on one. This has made things a bit confusing as some of my threads are bigger than 5 people, and when a topic that picks up steam takes off, exceeding 50 messages, I come back to my phone to find all those message cascaded as separate texts from the individuals instead of in anorganized flowin the group thread. When I first noticed the issue, I power cycled the phone, booted in to Android System Recovery and cleared my cache. Cleared the cache of the Samsung messaging app, MCM client, and Carrier Hub, apps and still no luck. I ignored the issue for a about a week or so to see if it would resolve itself or if Samsung would maybe provide an app update to the messages app (they usually provide app updates after big OTA updates to their default apps) to resolve the issue, instead, I ended up getting another OTA update to my device, 2 OTAs in less than 3 weeks. The issue however, remained the same. I conducted a test on 2 other phones I have at home by creating a new group chat with them which proved it's just my device so far. I conducted the test with a few other friends, and they are getting the texts in the thread just fine. I also notice that each time I boot up my device I get these prompts and back to back alerts that may tell a bigger story (see screenshots). I had to be quick in getting the screenshots for these, my dark mode may make the text hard to read. I did recently change my planfrom Simple Choice to Magenta MAX so not sure if that plays a part in this but other devices on my plan are not showing these issues.the other devices are all iPhone 12s though. Also to reference, my Note20 Ultra is using it's built in eSIM. Wondering what else I can do stopping shy of a device wipe. The screenshot that says unstable connection seems wrong because my device shows full bars on 5G although possibly true becausemy dBm's are pretty high at around 96 to 100 average. I live in the tallest building in my New York area and I am a level below the top and final floor with very large windows, I don't use WiFi calling but do connect to WiFi at home for data and my device may occasionally fluctuate back to 4G LTE at any given time.1.4KViews0likes11ComentariosMajor network issues on Note 20 ultra with T-mobile network and Cellspot
I live at the edge of T-mobile coverage on a hill. T-mobile provided me an LTE cell spot for years which worked fine with my Note 8 for the last 2.5 years. I bought my Note 20 ultra on September 6. Everything was fine for about a month. Then, as of last week, around October 11, I started having major issues with phone calls and texts. 1) inability to make phone calls from the cell network No matter how many times I try, calls don't go through. This happens when connected to the cell network. I dial the number and it just doesn't go through or terminate. The same happens if I redial, no matter how many times. If I enable Wifi calling, calls do go out, at least. However, there is frequently silence of 2-3 seconds that make it very difficult to have a conversation, especially when my air conditioner comes on. This is despite being less than 10ft from the wireless AC access point, and being connected at a Wifi rate of 866 Mbps, with the backend Internet connection being Comcast gigabit. 2) inability to send texts when connected to either LTE or Wifi network I use Signal with the confirmation on. Texts just hang forever when I send them. Recipients do not get them. Sometimes the texts will go out an hour later. Sometimes they result in an error. The behavior with receiving texts is similar. 3) as instructed by a t-mobile tech, after rebooting my phone, and being located 6ft from my cellspot, it shows 4G or 4G LTE signal, and an "X" next to it, ie. zero bars. I can't make any calls, send/receive any texts, or use any data. 4) a reset of all the network settings on the phone did not fix the problem. 5) t-mobile did a "refresh SIM" on their end. It did not fix the problems. 6) If I power off the cell spot, all the problems go away in my home office. This is what I did for the last week while waiting for a replacement cell spot. But I then have only 0.4 Mbps speed even on the 5G network. In other spots in my home, I have zero cell network signal at all. I am in a 4600 sq ft home. T-mobile send me a new replacement cellspot. I just got it yesterday. All the lights on it are green. Unfortunately, all the problems described above are also back on my phone once the cellspot is on. The cellspot is supposed to improve cell signal, but in fact completely kills it for me instead with my phone ! At this point, I'm completely stuck with using my Ooma voice over IP phone to make phone calls. Without it, I would be completely SOL with making calls. I cannot reliably send or receive texts, since Ooma doesn't offer that service. It is too late for me to return my Note 20 Ultra to the store. And I have already sold my Note 8. My husband also has a Note 20 ultra, bought from Costco the same day as mine, and isn't experiencing the same problems, though he is not home most of the time. It seems there is something wrong between my own Note 20 ultra and the cellspot. But I don't know what it could be. I'm really at my wits' end. Obviously I have been working with T-mobile techs on the phone on this, but they haven't been able to fix it. I posted my question to the Samsung forum as well at https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-note20-note20-ultra-5g/major-network-issues-on-note-20-ultra-with-t-mobile-network-and/m-p/2178139#M4773 .Solved6.9KViews0likes12ComentariosNote 20 Ultra 5g Update
