SyncUp Kids

I purchased 5 SyncUp Kids watches for Christmas this year. Kids love them, but yesterday I had a second watch get stuck not getting past the loading screen. I'm not sure what led up to it, but the symptoms seem to appear out of nowhere. The watch doesn't respond to anything. The only thing you can do is hold the button for 20secs or so and it will buzz and hard-reset, then get to the loading screen and sequence the three pink dots on the bottom indefinitely. When the first watch did this I called 611. They seemed very unfamiliar with this product, and appear to have limited ability to troubleshoot anything. Apparently the only way to factory reset these watches is through the settings menu in the interface and in this case it can't get there. They had me go into a store and do a defect exchange (At first they wanted to charge me $5 to file manufacturer warranty and give me a refurbished watch, I refused and insisted on another option. Who charges $5 for a manufacturing defect?) Yesterday the second, of five, watches has the same symptoms as before. Stuck at the loading screen, the only thing I can do that gets any response is hard-reset by holding on the button. Having two of these cases now, within 2 months of new, I can't imagine I am unique but I can't find any record of people having issues, so I am here, trying to find solutions, and share my experience. Question 1- Is there a hidden way to factory reset these watches without accessing the settings menu? If not, why?! Question 2- Are other people having these same issues? Are my kids doing something to their watches they shouldn't be doing? What might it be? Both times this happened it was overnight, we know because that is when they go offline. I suspect my kids are grabbing them off their chargers to play with them at night, but I can't think of anything they could do to their watch in their beds that would cause them to bug-out.Solved16KViews2likes34Comentariossyncup kids watch school mode
Hi folks. I got the SyncUP watch for my kiddo yesterday, and I can't get the school mode schedule to work. I set up a schedule, but it is not following the schedule. It's randomly turning itself off and on, almost like the time is wrong. Is it a time zone issue? Has anyone run into this? The watch updated last night, so that shouldn't be the problem.4.1KViews2likes11ComentariosSynchUp Watch not charging
My child's watch charges perfectly fine some nights, other nights it dies while on the charger all night. Wake up and battery is at 5% or something ridiculous. Super annoying. Defeats the whole purpose of having it when it is unusable. If you reset the watch while leaving it on the charging cradle it will begin to charge just fine after the reset. Just a quirk that really stinks when you don't catch it. Anybody else experience this intermittent charging issue. It seems to be pretty regular lately.3.6KViews3likes13ComentariosHow to change time on kids sync up watch
Has any found a way to change the time mode on the kids sync up watch. My daughter changed hers to 24 hour time but doesn't know how she did it and wants it changed back. I can't find anything on line or in the instructions on how to change it.3.4KViews0likes4ComentariosT-Mobile® SyncUP KIDS™ Watch (Sprint)
Hello, Is anyone having issues with the SyncUp Kids Watch 1.5, that is a Sprint customer? I just got my watch today and when I go the app, I created a TMobile ID using my email. When I go to pair the watch, it says "Watch has wrong rate plan. Please contact Customer Care and let our team know your watch has an invalid rate plan." I have the Unlimited Watch Plan for $15/month. When I called Customer service they switched the plan to the other one, 500mb plan, and it still wasn't working. We've restarted the watch multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I spent hours on the phone with customer service as well the chat sessions. No one has been able to help. They say they have never had this issue, I know that this is the newer version of the watch. Hoping someone is able to help! I'm stuck.Solved2.6KViews1like27ComentariosSyncUP kids watch won't accept incoming calls
Got the watch and set up the app and everything is working great. We added contacts and started testing it out. If a contact is designated as a "guardian" they can call the watch, but if a contact is designated as a "friend" then calling the watch gives an error message saying the number doesn't exist. Texting works just fine, and the watch can call out to any of the contacts, the only issue is with incoming calls from "friends".2.3KViews0likes4Comentarios
