Not Receiving Group Texts and Server Alarms on WiFi
When I'm connected to WiFi, I am not receiving group texts that include one Android user. Additionally, I'm not receiving web-based texts (such as server alarm notifications) when there is an issue. However, when I disable WiFi and switch to cellular data, I receive all of these messages immediately. My carrier is T-Mobile. I've tried basic troubleshooting, but the issue persists. Any advice on resolving this so that I can receive all messages over WiFi would be appreciated. ¡Gracias!Watch line is sending message blocking text
When I text message Android phones the receiver gets a text message from my Apple watch (which is paired with my Iphone) saying "Free Msg: Receiver unable to receivemessage - message blocking is active." This only started happening a few days ago. I checked all my iPhone settings and my T-Mobile settings and all the blocking options are off. I also turned both watch and phone off and back on and unpaired the two but neither of those worked. ¿Tienes alguna idea?
Iphone 12 - Not receiving some android/group texts
Hello, My iPhone 12 mini does not get some messages in group thread with android present… My phone has the same number twice in my cellular service line, primary and secondary. If i turn on secondary, I get the texts but cannot reply to the thread, If I turn off secondary, i dont see some of the messages at all, but can reply. what the heck is going on, how do i reset this going forward? restart the group threads?
texting pictures problem
I have an Apple Pro Max 14. I cannot text pictures to anyone with an Android phone, thisincludes my husband who is on my T-mobile plan. I have to email him pictures. I have been on the phone with tech support and it worked for like 2 pictures and then stopped. It is really frustrating!!! Help!!!
Blacklisted by Verizon??
I'm really not sure what to put in here... I would also like to preface this with the fact that I'm actually a T-mobile customer. I got an iPhone when I turned 14 and since then I have been unable to SMS message anyone on the Verizon network. I'm now 21 and it's been a big issue over the last 7 years. Luckily I have been able to message ios users because message runs over data rather than traditional SMS protocol. Generally, I have been able to use other messaging apps for group messages with Android users on the Verizon network. It behaves awfully weird too. I can receive messages from Android Verizon users, but I can't send texts to them. I can. however, send images and videos to them. Because of this, I have been screenshotting and cropping many messages that I want to send to these people. Also, this applies to LITERALLY ANYONE on the Verizon network. Including Xfinity mobile, Gabb wireless, and others like them. Before you go crazy in the comments, here's what I've tried. Talk to T-Mobile. It's probably their fault. I have multiple times and all the way up to some of their top technical teams and according to all measurements they have made, my phone number is totally fine. They say it's Verizon's fault for blocking my phone number. Talk to Verizon I've talked to Verizon a couple of times and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They tried to deflect the blame, but I think I still believe that the blame rests in Verizon's hands. Is it a problem with my phone? It might have been, cause I've only had iPhones, but I managed to test that through using the T-Mobile DIGITS service which sends an SMS message as if it was a non-ios device. The Verizon users still didn't get my texts. Conclusion So. What do I think? I think that I probably got blacklisted on the Verizon network because the former user of my phone number was probably a bad actor. Why do I think this? Cause I regularly receive many messages and calls intended for some random Chinese person that I've never met. Stuff about insurance, taxes, income, etc. I think that my phone number was recycled in the same way that most numbers are when the line is closed, but that the previous user got it blacklisted back before I got my phone in 2016. Hello! I am presently experiencing an issue that is driving me mad! 🙃 My father has informed me he is not receiving text messages from me. He IS however able to see screenshots I send to him. SMS no, MMS yes to both him and a friend with an Android as well. I've confirmed the color of all messages going out are green, and that they always confirm Delivered. I text a iPhone 11 on our plan with iMessages off and it shows Delivered on my end but doesn't show up on her end. That iPhone 11 is able to text Android's confirming it's just happening on my line. Group messages as far as I can are working fine.. Baffling. Confirmed calls to and from another another working Confirmed Android call yesterday before I did Network reset I've restarted numerous times, and reset the network settings. I'm not sure what else to try.. Any ideas? BONUS EXTRA BULLETS: On my Mac, the Messages app is not showing my messages in or out after my Network reset. A key difference between my Mac and iPhone experience: while iPhone says Delivered on every non-delivered message, Mac Messages at least has the common decency to say 'Not delivered' on them after a minute or two. iMessages working between Mac and iPhone on Messages for Mac Sometime during the week before 09/24 I swapped my SIM from an older iPhone to the 12. I've had no problems at all up until last Sunday in to Monday, That's when I was first alerted to the problem. This has turned in to a lot of stuff.. but this just feels so random, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!
