I have heard about this happening to a lot of people, unfortunately I saw all the stories *after* I filed a claim. I will soon have to mail my damaged phone back. I contacted T-Force and they said that I cannot turn it in in-store since the Protection<360> stuff all goes through Assurant. I am scared they will lose my returned phone and then bill me for it, as has happened to so many other people. Has anyone successfully done a return with Assurant? Any advice as to how I can protect myself - like getting a receipt and buying package insurance? I've also heard filming myself boxing the phone and sending the package is good, does that really help? And what can I do if/when they lose my phone? Also, has anyone actually had a *good* experience with Assurant or Jump? Literally all I am seeing is horror stories.Solved26KViews4likes24ComentariosBeing charged for phone after returning back to Assurant...
Hi there, I'm having a really stressful time right now getting the run around from T-Mobile and Assurant regarding a phone claim I have. The Merchant Return Labal states: PERMIT NO. 395 LANCASTER, PA Assurant YORK PA, 17402 625 WILLOW SPRINGS LANE STE A; RMA # 405-32835102-3. I've been charged 300$ on my phone bill, despite returning this phone almost a month ago. When I call up Assurant they state the warehouse still hasn't recieved it. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of for a mistake on Assurant's end, and T Mobile says they can't refund the money on my bill. I'm literally at a loss for words, I sent it and feel like it's 100% their responsibility for not receiving it, what should I do?Solved19KViews7likes64ComentariosI'm getting two different trade-in values for my iPhone 7?
So I just pre-ordered the new iPhone XR and the current trade-in promotion is that you can get $390 in monthly bill credits if I trade in my iPhone 7. So I did. However, I just checked my trade-in shipping label info/receipt etc. from Assurant and it says "Accepted Offer Value: $121.00" !!!! This is NOT what I accepted, nowhere during the entire processed did I ACCEPT "$121.00". The current promo of $390 for iPhone 7 trade-in is what I accepted. Now, I don't know if I should ship out my old phone when new one arrives. This is outrageous.Solved4.2KViews0likes8ComentariosAbsolutely Terrible Experience with Assurant - Avoid Them at All Costs!
I recently dealt with Assurant, and I cannot express how utterly disappointed and frustrated I am with their abysmal customer service. My ordeal began when I needed a replacement phone, and it took a whopping ten days for Assurant to deliver it, turning what should have been a straightforward process into a never-ending nightmare. First and foremost, their customer service representatives were a nightmare. It was as if they had no regard for the fact that I had been without a functioning phone for a week and a half. I was met with incompetence, indifference, and a complete lack of urgency on their part. Basic customer service etiquette was an alien concept to them. But the horror didn't stop there. After receiving the replacement phone, I was slapped with a jaw-dropping $500+ "no return phone fee" on my T-Mobile bill, which Assurant was supposed to take care of after I returned the damaged device. Despite my return of the phone and multiple follow-ups, Assurant is forcing me to wait through not one but two billing cycles before removing this fee from my T-Mobile bill. This careless delay in resolving the issue cost me time, energy, and significant money. I am appalled by Assurant's utter disregard for their customers' time and peace of mind. They prioritize their bureaucratic processes over the needs and satisfaction of the people they serve. It's astounding that a company with such a terrible customer service track record can operate in today's market or serve T-Mobile customers. In conclusion, my experience with Assurant has been nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and explore other options. Their poor customer service, excessive delays, and lack of accountability make them a company I will never ever deal with again. Save yourself the frustration and anguish, and avoid Assurant at all costs.3.8KViews13likes21ComentariosAssurant return damaged device package Empty!!
I have been a customer of Tmobile for the last 16 years and have filed 3 claims 2 damaged phones and 1 stolen. I have paid $4,608.00 in total for insurance on my devices. $42,240.00 for phone service. I am beyond upset and no is not even the amount I am erroneously being charged by assurant through T-mobile. But is the scam that assurant is able to get away with! This is my story, I accidentally damaged my phone in September and filed a claim with assurant for this phone to be replaced, my claim was approved next day and I received my replacement. I sent the damaged phone back to assurant on September 14th and received a notification it was received September 17th in their York PA warehouse. I received a letter in November stating phone was not received, so I called assurant and their Rep stated that they had actually received the phone but the package had not been scanned in. Then I get a charge on my T-Mobileaccount in December stating assurant never received their damaged device. I call assurant and again I am told the device was received but the packaged had not been scanned. I wait a week and call again and now another rep is telling me the package I sent was empty and it was received empty, so I ask why would I claim a damaged phone and then keep it. Why would I send an empty package and taken the time to tape it and mail it and track it just so I could be told package was received but it is empty so you have to pay full price for a refurbished phone replacement. This is definitely a scam and there is no way that our packages arrive empty. It makes no sense my phone was literally in pieces due to car accident who would steal a damaged phone that had no use. Please T-Mobile investigate assurant and please find another insurance provider for your customers.3.4KViews8likes32ComentariosAssurant will not let me get my screen repaired
I have a Samsung S20 FE 5G & I cracked the glass but not the screen, I went to file a claim & Assurant won't give me the option to have my phone repaired at the CPR store in town even though they said they could if I had my claim code. The difference is a New Phone at $99 deductible or repair the screen at $29, of course they want me to replace my phone but I have tons of music on my phone I don't want to lose & why can't I just get it repaired? They have given me the run around whe calling saying there's not a center in my area & then when I said there is they said they cannot fix my model, even though the store told me they can.2.9KViews2likes11ComentariosT-Mobile Trade-in delivery tracking shows 'Available for Pickup' now instead of being 'Delivered'. Next steps?
I dropped off my trade-in device at the USPSafter documenting it and it's condition, along with IMEI number shown prominently. The delivery label denoted Assurant at Lewisville, TX as the destination. Today, the USPS tracking of the package got updated to 'Available for Pickup' instead of being delivered to the address on the label. I am confused as to why this happened, and if I need to intervene and schedule a redelivery so that it gets delivered to the Assurant facility. Please advise. Thank you so much! .Solved2.2KViews1like14ComentariosProblems with T-mobile insurance (Assurance)
So I lost my phone at Bush gardens, likely on a roller-coaster recently. Filed an insurance claim, as its a lost device it went pretty smoothly. It was only 200 miles of driving back and forth to a T-mobile store. I had to sit in T-mobile store while the store assistant called into assist me with the claim because of 'verification'. I also had to drive back to the t-mobile store because they couldn't active the sim Assurant sent me after I verified my identity. Only 5 visits in total to resolve the issue. Took about a 10 hours. My device was recovered a few days later by bush gardens, it took a good knock. Somehow the screen survived but the back really didn't (glass back). It looks like it sustained some good nocks and now rattles. I tried to correct the claim withAssurance, switching it to Accidental Damage as I do have the old phone now. However they want me to send back the new working phone instead. Then after the claim has been reversed file a new claim asAccidental Damage. I am not sure I use should be using a phone in such bad condition, and my work does require me to have a phone. To make this worse Iv never heard anyone say anything good about Assurance. They seem to loose phones right left and center like there core business is built around phones going missing in the mail. I am vary concerned about doing this unnecessary multi step return. I am concerned about charging this broken phone. I am vary much considering leaving T-mobile over this.2KViews0likes5Comentarios
