By call 611 , I requestedto activate international call blocking for all my lines. Few minutes later I can see all my line has feature international blocking add on. Plus, I activate charged roaming feature as well. My brother istravelling in Europe ( which include 215 Countries ) does not get signal data roaming at all. I call support multiple times, and they said "make sure roaming is on" " turn off and off" , " everything clear just wait ". No luck And finally one of them told me " I need to turn off your International call blocking add on ". As soon as he disables, my brother send me a message got LTE signal and data works as it should. My understanding the ILD (International long distance) blocking is to avoid making international callsand texting tooverseas as explained on Tmobile support article as follow: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/stateside-international-calling-and-texting-services#:~:text=We%20offer%20the%20ability%20to,us%20by%20message%20or%20social. But not to block the data roaming on 215 Countries list. Why that ILD add on block the data roaming as well? My friend assuresme " My tmobile account have ILD block add on , but have never problem with data roaming in overseas " Tech support said " once you turn on ILD block add on , you never get roaming data in overseas" Please advise, I just want to prevent to call / texting overseas, but need data roaming as 215 Countries list . I fully understand as explained on above article "This service can't block outgoing international calls if you are roaming domestically on another carrier's network" . My father is suffering from dementia. He has T-mobile. In the past 60 days, he has received robo-calls and unsolicited calls from people asking for money. He has given them what they ask for. Most recently he fell for the compromised social security number scam and sent people in California $600 to fix the problem and issue him a new SSN. These calls are becoming more and more frequent and more and more frustrating for the rest of us, to include more and more costly! He has a flip phone, as he cant do a smart phone. Is there a setting in the account associated with his number that we can fix it to where he only recieves calls from known numbers, like just those in his contact list? I understand we can *67 each number but would still have to get to the phone before he does when it rings. What are some of our options to protect him/us?Solved2.4KViews0likes5ComentariosIs there a way to block a +86 China spam calls?
I have been getting Chinese scam calls everyday (2-3x) from +86 (China country code). It has become very annoying. Is there a way to block all calls coming from +86. I am annoyed of blocking each spam number individually. I tried adding just "+86" and "+86*" (with a wildcard) on the block list and no dice. Any help is appreciated. My phone is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. P.S. I don't wanna install 3rd party spam caller blocks. They messed up my phone before.764Visto0likes1ComentarioHow can prevent someone from getting and receiving calls from multiple phone number
My husband,(we'll call him bob for now) had a brain injury some time back. He now has massive dementia-like symptoms that came on suddenly and have left me scrambling to get control of everything including his phone usage. He receives hundreds of texts messages and calls a day from con artists and scammers trying to convince he's won a car or the lottery. I need to block the numbers, but he won't let me near his phone. I am the primary account holder, but I need to do this in a way that he's not alerted by T-Mobile that anything has changed with his phone. If he knows I put any kind of block on his phone he'll have a meltdown and that is dangerous at this point. Can anyone advise me on the most discreet and easiest way to do this? Remember there are hundreds of numbers - I just found them all on the billing online.Solved197Visto0likes1ComentarioHow to block 800 numbers or XXX calls
My child has been getting XXX hotline voicemails on their phone for over a year now. I have paid for Scam Shield, and have blocked the number(s), but they just continue to call from other 800 numbers. Also, the messages continue to go to voicemail, and they are graphic. I have tried everything I can find. Any suggestions? Is there a way to block all 800 numbers? How do I keep them from leavingvoicemails?99Visto0likes1Comentario
