cell tower

Is there a new model of the Home Internet Gateway that includes the option of adding external cellular antennas? I see all these videos that show opening the gateway up and soldering in your own connections but we can't be the only ones that noticed the poor performance of the internal antennas. I know that being outside with the gateway makes the difference between getting a good signal outside and a poor signal outside and the signal to noise ratio improves too. I just don't want to put my gateway on the outside covered deck just to get a decent signal. I'm not sure what the temps and humidity will do to the unit over time. I've done the cell tower mapping and I know where my cell tower is located.Solved5.7KViews0likes13ComentariosTower upgrades taking weeks to complete?
I started having issues a couple of days ago and when I called they stated that the towers in my area are being upgraded. I asked how long this would take as I had no service for several days. They stated 3 to 4 weeks! How is this acceptable in this day and age for technology upgrades to takes weeks and deny service to customers? I should have said this is a safety issue as I could not reliable make calls and if I had an emergency how could I expect to get help. This is a sad state of affairs T-Mobile.2.9KViews4likes9ComentariosT-Mobile Home Internet 5G NOT USABLE / slow upload speed in Dallas, TX
This is frustrating the slower speeds, inconstant. T-Mobile Home Internet 5G is not so 5G When got the T-Mobile service I was hoping to be able to get rid of Spectrum, but if my upload speed does not improve I guess I will have to try ATT. I literally down the street from cell tower (end of the block). that shows to 5G available but I still do not seem to connect to it.2.3KViews3likes9Comentarios
