Hello, Trying to remove some clutter from my house, I found a very old (probably 7-10 years old) T Mobile CellSpot. Is there a faster way to get a return label generated? I'm on hold with Customer Care but it's been over 30 minutes and considering they'd have to email me a return label anyway, there's gotta be a better way. PS: 30 minutes on hold with no indicator for how long the line is...wow149Visto0likes5ComentariosCan't make calls using 4g LTE Cellspot
I had a Verizon Network Extender before switching to T-Mobile. The Network Extender was working fine. After switching to T-Mobile, I set up the T-Mobile 4G LTE Cellspot using the same network connection to my DMZ (no ports blocked). I have a very fast fiber connection and typically one-bar of service from T-Mobile on my Samsung S22 Ultra. After initializing, all the lights stay lit (except for the 3G light which I understand will never light). After a short time, the 4G LTE light starts to blink and eventually shut off, when the status light turns blinking-amber. After a short while the status light goes solid-green again and the 4G LTE light turns solid-green. This constantly cycles thru the same sequence. At no time am I able to make calls with WiFi calling turned off. T-Mobile replaced the first unit I had, thinking it was bad, but the second unit does the same thing. I've tried moving the Cellspot to a different location with the same result. So far, customer service hasn't been able to help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.62Visto0likes0ComentariosTmobile cell spot service

My neighborhood has T-Mobile coverage, but it is very poor. I am currently a Verizon customer who plans to switch to Mint Mobile, and I want to get a T-Mobile CellSpot I can connect to the LAN at my house. Can I expect my Mint Mobile service to be compatible with the T-Mobile CellSpot? Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? Will it work?Solved3KViews0likes4ComentariosCellSpot v2 Update Email - How?
I got an email asking me to update my CellSpot: I have a CellSpot V2 SS2FII Femtocell Multi-Band SOHO, manufactured by Nokia. It is connected to my home internet. The light is blinking green, indicating LTE traffic going through it. If I turn it off, my LTE service vanishes. So I think it's working fine. The link in the email goes here: 4G LTE CellSpot setup & help Which says nothing about updating it. The femtocell version doesn't have a wifi network, so how am I supposed to update it? Thanks in advance.Solved1.1KViews0likes3ComentariosMy cellspot not connecting
Hi, I looked over the internet to see if there was something i was missing. I just upgraded to the v2 as the original cellspot stopped working 6 months ago ( just green power light nothing else) The new one started with green flashing power and amber flashing internet. I had originally setup through my archer ax21 router but after two days switched to plugging directly into the modem. (a tplink tc-7620) and plugging the router into the lan port. Now i have green flashing power and solid amber internet led. I called customer support and that was fruitless. After 20 minutes of telling the person on the phone that she doesnt have a script for my question she checked with her colleagues and told me that xfinity comcast doesn't block customers ports. ( Not entirely true as there are about a dozen ports they do block that started way back with the sasser worm iirc). I have tried various port scanners and the results are mixed but it seems to say that the ports are open but filtered? No explanation of that. I have cycled power a bunch of times and have tried resetting the cellspot a couple of times. Does tmobile have a port testing site that they recommend to see if i need to confront my ISP at a higher level? Gracias1KViews1like2Comentarios4g LTE Cellspot
My cellspot is hissing (fan noise) and won't connect to anything. The power and the Internet are only flashing (green and yellow respectively). All the other lights are off. I have hit the reset button (maybe a little over an hour ago) but no go. Its been like this all weekend. I need the cellspot as I only get 1 bar in the house. Had this device since 2018 and its been flawless until now. Suggestions?153Visto0likes4ComentariosMajor network issues on Note 20 ultra with T-mobile network and Cellspot
I live at the edge of T-mobile coverage on a hill. T-mobile provided me an LTE cell spot for years which worked fine with my Note 8 for the last 2.5 years. I bought my Note 20 ultra on September 6. Everything was fine for about a month. Then, as of last week, around October 11, I started having major issues with phone calls and texts. 1) inability to make phone calls from the cell network No matter how many times I try, calls don't go through. This happens when connected to the cell network. I dial the number and it just doesn't go through or terminate. The same happens if I redial, no matter how many times. If I enable Wifi calling, calls do go out, at least. However, there is frequently silence of 2-3 seconds that make it very difficult to have a conversation, especially when my air conditioner comes on. This is despite being less than 10ft from the wireless AC access point, and being connected at a Wifi rate of 866 Mbps, with the backend Internet connection being Comcast gigabit. 2) inability to send texts when connected to either LTE or Wifi network I use Signal with the confirmation on. Texts just hang forever when I send them. Recipients do not get them. Sometimes the texts will go out an hour later. Sometimes they result in an error. The behavior with receiving texts is similar. 3) as instructed by a t-mobile tech, after rebooting my phone, and being located 6ft from my cellspot, it shows 4G or 4G LTE signal, and an "X" next to it, ie. zero bars. I can't make any calls, send/receive any texts, or use any data. 4) a reset of all the network settings on the phone did not fix the problem. 5) t-mobile did a "refresh SIM" on their end. It did not fix the problems. 6) If I power off the cell spot, all the problems go away in my home office. This is what I did for the last week while waiting for a replacement cell spot. But I then have only 0.4 Mbps speed even on the 5G network. In other spots in my home, I have zero cell network signal at all. I am in a 4600 sq ft home. T-mobile send me a new replacement cellspot. I just got it yesterday. All the lights on it are green. Unfortunately, all the problems described above are also back on my phone once the cellspot is on. The cellspot is supposed to improve cell signal, but in fact completely kills it for me instead with my phone ! At this point, I'm completely stuck with using my Ooma voice over IP phone to make phone calls. Without it, I would be completely SOL with making calls. I cannot reliably send or receive texts, since Ooma doesn't offer that service. It is too late for me to return my Note 20 Ultra to the store. And I have already sold my Note 8. My husband also has a Note 20 ultra, bought from Costco the same day as mine, and isn't experiencing the same problems, though he is not home most of the time. It seems there is something wrong between my own Note 20 ultra and the cellspot. But I don't know what it could be. I'm really at my wits' end. Obviously I have been working with T-mobile techs on the phone on this, but they haven't been able to fix it. I posted my question to the Samsung forum as well at https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-note20-note20-ultra-5g/major-network-issues-on-note-20-ultra-with-t-mobile-network-and/m-p/2178139#M4773 .Solved6.9KViews0likes12Comentarios
