T-Mobile support has become an absolute joke. Their slogan of "no jumping from agent to agent" is an outright lie. The overseas call center doesn't know how to use the tools, cannot understand simple English and incompetent is an understatement. Thereappears to be no one working in the US anymore and I cannot even get a straight answer on what my payoff is to transfer to another carrier.12KViews34likes46ComentariosWhen can I JUST use TM internet modem as ONLY a modem, in BRIDGE mode, with NO NAT, NO firewall, and frankly NO Wifi.
PLEASE let me know when can get a PLAIN modem from T-Mobile, or BUY my own modem, or SET their modem up to DUPLICATE the functionality of Spectrum. I can't and won't change, until and unless I can get that kind of service. Frankly, I am shocked that TM didn't spec that into their design. Instead, based on about a 20 minute search, that is IMPOSSIBLE today… and here are just a few of the problems that will prevent me from even considering TM: There's NO bridge mode --- This means I CAN NEVER treat TM device like my Spectrum cable modem, and treat it JUST like a modem. Since I can't treat it as just another modem, I have to REDO and RETHINK, and REDESIGN my whole network, to adopt to their design -- This is NOT going to happen! No Bridge means that I'm limited to whatever they designed into their modem, to provide services like DHCP, NAT, port forwarding, DNS, ETC. Since their software UI is the only way I can provide services I depend on, then unless they perfected their software, their UI, and their firmware, and their firewall software that is better than all the other devices I have, some of which are extremely sophisticated and expensive, their device makes using these devices not only redundant, but also DISABLED services, without a lot of workarounds, assuming I both want to do the work, and I can actually achieve configs that work for me. I'm still using Spectrum, and it appears I won't have a viable good option ofchanging everything over to T-Mobile, until they somehow figure out how to produce a service that is COMPLETE plug and play with a CABLE MODEM…. By modem, I do NOT mean a firewall, a router, a WiFi, or ANYTHING more than a stable MODEM with ONE IP address, DHCP in order to pass an IP to my firewall, and that's it. NO, I do NOT even need DNS services, either. I hope I just misunderstand thecurrent TM design. If this is how it works today, it reminds me of when I first put a DSL modem in my company in the early 1990's. The first thing they gave me was a contract that said I had to PAY EXTRA, for EACH device I connected, I'd have to notifythem in advance, and EACH IP was extra cost. After Irewrote their contract, and informed them I only wanted ONE device connected, and ONE IP, and bought my SonicWall "Internet gateway" "NATFirewall", and "DHCP server". Although that one device was about $300-400 at the time, we were able to use that to service over 50 computers at a time for the next 15 years. I guess we were ahead of our time as a small company. Most everyone else was paying 10-15 per user, and we never EVER paid for more than ONE user. But then, we had 20 or more engineers working for us at the time as well. C'mon T-Mobile --- Get a real great network designer involved so it only takes plugging my EXISTING 1,000-T WIRED internet cable and then everything works, out of the box. Then, also provide the means to MANAGE and MONITOR that modem remotely. That's all I need or want, and suspect that is all most all users want today..12KViews32likes30ComentariosLinking T-Mobile Money Account Through Plaid Service
Hi I'm a relatively new T-Mobile Money customer and a long time T-Mobile customer and would like to know if there is a way or if there are plans to all T-Mobile Money customers to link their accounts to services using the Plaid platform? I understand that T-Mobile Money is a subsidiary of BankMoblie which was a part of Customers Bank, and when I have connect my account through other services by using my ACH information it comes up Customers Bank. However, if I attempt to use Plaid I cannot log in through Customers Bank or through BankMobile to link my account which is very debilitating in how I use my money. Are there plans to make this type of connectivity functionable?Solved7KViews27likes33ComentariosLied to about promotion
On December 4, 2022, I went tomy local T-mobile store looking for promotion deals to see if I could get a trade-in upgrade for my wife's phone. After talking to one of the employees about their current deals, they employee promised me that if I switchfrom my current plan Magenta to Magenta MAX that I would get a $800 trade-in credit towards an Iphone 14. I told her it is a great dealand was baited into switching my phone plan. She made the switch official that day (Dec 4, 2022) and told me to come back on December 6, 2022 to make the trade-inbecause the plan swapwouldnot be effective until then. When I arrived 2 days later on the 6th, I was told that there were no such deal by another employee and the current plan they currently offer is a $400 trade-in credit. Long story short, I end up reverting my plan back to Magenta and was charged for the Magenta MAX plan although I only had it for 2 days. Next time before making a switch, I would ask for a written contract. This is absolutely unacceptance and no one should be charged $40 more due to incompetent employees/false promotions.11KViews24likes46ComentariosWorst customer service
Tmobile became the worst customer service carrier since they became TMobile USA. The original TMobile customer service was not bad at all. The TMobile USA has the worst, I mean, the worst of all customer service of all any other carriers. Once you ported your numbers out of TMobile, that's it, they don't want to help you. They find all kinds of excuses not being able to help you. They keep telling you to call this and that, and when you call them, they told you to go to Store, etc. they keep bouncing you around until you give up calling or inquiring. Plus once your service is not with TMobile any longer, you loose the online access to billing in order to update the billing address for the credit proration. I don't know why people keep switching over to TMOBILE?4.2KViews21likes28ComentariosKeep and Switch Fraud
Anyone else having trouble with TMobile meeting it's promises. Three attempts now to be reimbursed for iPhone through keep and switch program. I guess they think you will just forget about what they promise you to get you to switch from AT&T. Just a new form of Corporate hot checks….. worst customer service I believe we have experienced…7.8KViews21likes55ComentariosITS TIME TO SUE T-MOBILE BAD INTERNET SERVICE

My Family has been scammed by T-Mobile! 1st mistake: In early November we switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. 2nd: Mistake: Fell for the so called "Free" IPhone 13 upgrade scam! I traded in/sent them my perfect condition i-phone 12 pro max for a i-phone 13 pro max and was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 months I traded in/sent them my wife's perfect condition i-phone 12 profor a i-phone 13 proand was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 months I'm now being charged$36.67- 15.50 credit for each phone. So being charged $21.17 for each phone per month. If you dothe math they gave me $465each for my phones. The promotion was $1000 credit on any I-phone 12! They lied! My local store employees verbally guaranteed we would get the full $1000 because that was the promotion! I'm still fighting to get the full credits. Next step is filing a complaint with Better Business and taking legal action filing aclass action lawsuit. If you've experienced something similar with this promotion they ran in Dec. 2021 I would love to here your comments.15KViews18likes55ComentariosLied to and billed for a phone that I was offered for free
I have been a good reliable Tmobil customer for over 4years. I have multiple lines on my plan and I've never missed a payment. I ordered and paid for a new phone just before Xmas 2021. The phone was never delivered. I called to ask where my phone was and was told they couldn't find the phone and had to investigate. A rep was supposed to call me back. By the second week of Jan. the issue still wasn't resolved and I did not receive a phone yet. Tmobil was still unable to give me a clear answer on what happened or when I'd receive myphone. I was upset and called backon Jan. 7th to close my account. The operator was distressed and saidshe could not lose me as a customer. She asked if a free phone would get me to stay. I agreed and signed the paperwork for a new phone. I received the phone within 1-2 days and all was well until I got my next bill and saw that I was being billed for the phone. I called customer support several more times trying to resolve the issue. By early March my frustration level was through the roof. I've made so many calls and wasted so much of my time. I called to cancel my account and was told that if I left, I would still owe for the balance on the phone. I said I'd send it back but the rep said too much time has passed. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was given to James rep# 9991310431 who insinuated that all along this was just a scheme I hatched to demand a phone. That whatever happened between me and the service rep on Jan. 7th was my fault and that I agreed to pay for a new phone. I asked him to listen to the recorded call, he said he did and that I agreed to buy a phone. I know that's not true so I asked James to let me listen, he said that wasn't possible. I asked if somebody else at Tmobil could listen to the call. He said he was the highest level of authority I would be able to reach and that nobody else at Tmobil would bother to waste their time listening to that call. I asked James for the number to customer relations, he said that Tmobil (a giant phone company) doesn't have a phone at customer relations and that I'd have to write them a letter. If I want to speak with somebody else, I will have to wait 72 hours for somebody to call me back. This all seems crazy to me. I'm a working father of three children with a life, I don't have time for all this and I'm not just going to be bullied into paying $1000 for a phone I was told would be free. I want my money back and I want to take my families business elsewhere. I can't believe that there's no way to contact anyone at Tmobil with the authority to assist a very displeased customer besides James, who has insulted me multiple times now. If you are reading this and you are on the fence about using Tmobil as a carrier, this will be your reality if you ever need customer service. I don't recollect ever calling for help with anything else in all my time with this company. The one time I need help due to unusual circumstances that were no fault of mine, I've been lied to, scammed, hassled, bullied, insulted, stressedand have had hours and hours of my time wasted.7.1KViews14likes28ComentariosT-Mobile Internet - $200 Pre-Paid Mastercard - STILL WAITING
I switched to T-Mobile Internet over 3 months ago. The $200 Pre-paid Mastercard within 10 weeks was an incentive that led to me making this choice. It has been 12 weeks and I have not heard a thing. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am preparing to switch back to my previous provider if this is how they treat customers.9.4KViews13likes25Comentarios
