Currently travelling in Italy and upon arrival I received the standard welcome message "Your plan includes coverage that gives you unlimited data On Us now at faster speeds up to 256Kbps, plus unlimited texts at no extra cost!" Just want to make sure that I am reading this correctly, I have free text and data while here? What if I make a call through whatsapp or FB? As long as I don't make a call through the local carrier then I should not have any additional charges, correct?69Visto0likes0ComentariosI don’t have data in Mexico
I am in Mexico right now and my data is not working.Every time I come here, I get 5G high speed data and then unlimited low speed data, every month, for 3 months. I always get a "Welcome to Mexico" text when I land. However, this last trip I have not gotten a "Welcome to Mexico" text and I have been here for 2 months already. My phone has said no service since I have been here and I haven'thad any data! I have a Magenta plan and I know this is supposed to be included. I am extremely frustrated and confused!1.2KViews0likes5ComentariosEssential plan with traveling to Aruba
When I was on my last cruise to Aruba, Curacao, andGrand Turk, once we arrived at each port, I came off airplane mode. My phone said I had great connection, but when I went to browse to the internet, the Chrome browser said no internet connection. When did they change the Essential plan that you don't have data even at slow speed in over 215+ countries? I don't see it anymore on our plan other than texting and calling.3.4KViews0likes4ComentariosInternational Data Pass applies to multiple lines?
Both my wife's phone and mine are on my TMobile account. I assume if I go to 'Manage data and add-ons' at the plan-level (we have Magenta),buying an International Data Pass will make high-speed internet available to both our lines, w/ the 15GB limit being the sum of our downloads. This isn't explicitly stated in the international topic pages, but I hope it's true, as the data pass seems much less than buying individual European eSIMs would total. I had to buy a new phone (unlocked) while I was in Mexico which came with an ATT sim card. While standing at the counter watching the ATT sales person get my phone ready I told her that I had a T-Mobile SIM card which still worked (thankfully it was not damaged in the broken phone). She finished setting the phone up and then switched the ATT SIM card with my T-Mobile SIM card. Everything seems to be working, I am receiving calls and texts from my regular number. So what's my question? Well, am I okay on the new phone? Am I using the T-Mobile service (it appears to be that way). Will I still have international (i,e, Mexico) text, data and phone? I'm a bit nervousabout this, hence the questions to the community.606Visto0likes4Comentarios
