iPhone eSIM temporary unlock while traveling abroad
HI, I would like to know if eSIM can be unlocked only while traveling abroad. We used to be with another carrier "V" as I heard they were the only one keeping the devices unlocked even while the phone is in installment. We switched to T-Mobile 9 months ago because T-Mobile sales representative offeredcheaper monthly fee for seniors like us, upgrade to iPhone 15andT-Mobile unlocks SIM temporarily for 30 days if requesting before traveling abroad even we are in equipment installment plan. TodayI contacted forT-Mobile chat support as my wife is traveling to Japan from this weekend and was advised by a chatbot that we are not eligible to unlock because there is a balance for monthly device payment. I googled and readsome people saying the temporary unlock isavailable only toAndroid phones. It seems to be not what T-Mobile does/doesn't but rather hardware setting on Android. I also see certain iPhone can be unlocked only if installment plan is purchased from Apple store or Apple.com, which sounds weird to me why customers purchased directly from the carrier is limited in services. Although my Go5GPlus plan offers up to 5GB data included, I was informed I need to purchase international data pass after that ($35 for 5GB in 10 days, $50 for 15GB in 30 days), which sounds comparably expensive as long as I researched Japan local carriers' prepaid data rate. We travel overseas only 1 or 2 in a year, so it is still cheaper when considering the monthly charges overall, but I just would like to know the correct information of iPhone under T-Mobile equipment installment plan. Could someone who was recently in the same situation or T-Mobile expert could clarify the most updated information? Thank you so much,
Set up Cellular data
I had to reset my phone. I changed nothing as far a plan or provider. And it's asking my for a QR code and or to transfer to a new phone, which I don't need to do since I have the i phone 14 pro. How do I get the QR code? or I did see it give me an option to set up manually. I just want to set up my same service.

I dropped my phone. The screen didn't shatter, but the screen is black. I can't do anything including transfer my data. The alarm clock goes off constantly. How can I stop the alarm? I can't send the phone to the insurance co. in the mail like this. I also have confidential work information on the phone that was still open when the phone fell. I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk Hotspot and signed up for the prepaid plan. I have an off grid property and there is a T-Mobile tower about 5 miles away. I was at home (away from the property)setting up the hotspot and charging it through the USB connection on my home computer. The only usage was a quick test to verify a client could connect to the hotspot and have internet access. My data usage now shows that I have used over 80% of my data with there being a number of 100MB chunks at a time. This is over less than a one day period without any clients connected to the hotspot but with the USB connected to my home computer's USB port. I've now moved the hotspot power source to an adapter and the data usage appears to have been reduced significantly. I'm hoping this fixes the issue but don't understand why the hotspot was using 100MB chunks while connected to a computer with a hard wire internet connection???? Also, is there a way to view what the connection/site was that used the data?

I just got an IPhone and I have An android right now. I'm trying to transfer my cellular datafrom my Samsung to the IPhone 14. It says I need some activation code and a SM-DP+ Adress and a confirmation code or also a qr code. But I don't see any of those things in my galaxy s20.
