102 TopicsiPhone 13 Series Dual eSIM Setup Instructions
After spending 4+ hours on the phone with customer care, and in-store, today trying to get Dual eSIM's setup on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I left the store with one eSIM and one physical SIM on my new device. I need help and direction on how to get multiple eSIM's from T-Mobile setup on my device. I currently have two T-Mobile accounts - one personal, one business. I've previously used them in Dual SIM setup, one physical SIM & one eSIM - as described above, on my iPhone 12 Pro. Every time I've needed to re-setup the single eSIM for that device, the store always struggled to know what to do and how to get me setup with a single eSIM. Now that the iPhone 13 Series supports Dual eSIM use, I'd like to get setup this way.The device was ordered from Apple to activate T-Mobile's network, and the eSIM for my personal line came pre-configured upon the arrival of the device. However, when using the "Change SIM" option in "My Account" for my business line, as well as the store attempting to update from their end, the system gives an error stating "Looks like that eSIM number is already set up." after inputting the EID from the iPhone 13 Pro Max. "My Account" has no option to input any other information from the device that may link the 2nd eSIM back to the network, and the in-store employee said the same, or didn't understand how to set it up on their systems. I need precise direction on how I can get both eSIM Profiles for the two T-Mobile accounts installed/downloaded to the new phone. Hello, Long time Verizon Wireless customer, fed up with poor service / zero coverage at my home...in a major city (Boston). I'm eager to test T-Mo to see if it will work better for me. Installed the T-Mobile app on my iPhone 14 Pro (running latest software - iOS 16.0.3) and began the setup for the free 3-month "Network Pass." Went through setup to install and activate a second eSIM -- I now have the Verizon eSIM configured as the "Default Voice Line" and the T-Mobile eSIM configured for "Cellular Data". After doing so, the phone does connect to T-Mo with what appears to be reasonable signal strength (fluctuating between 2-3 bars, and between LTE / 5G / 5GUC). When I turn off wifi, however, I can't access the internet. (From Safari, Chrome, or Firefox...if I try to browse to 'google.com', browser will just spin and eventually timeout...and even if I rule out a DNS issue by browsing to '1.1.1.1' I get the same result--timeout. ...Other 3rd-party apps also can't connect.) But the odd thing is--there's DEFINITELY some data connection(!) -- I get push notifications immediately, and I can send/receive iMessages (bubbles are blue). I've placed a couple calls to T-Mo for assistance, but can't seem to get past 1st-level reps and to someone who can actually help to identify what the problem is (I do have an open ticket...in case a T-Mo tech actually reads this message and can help...). I've tried to get assistance from Apple on this, but all signs point back to a T-Mo problem at this point, and Apple isn't really able to help out (their next recommendation was a phone reset -- and I'm not doing that, as there's nothing to suggest that would help). I'm a technical network engineer by trade...so no need to dumb things down for me. I'm eager to actually take this for a test drive and would really like to get to the bottom of the issue. Any advice? Any T-Mo expert that can help me to escalate to troubleshoot? ¡Gracias!1.4KViews1like4ComentariosWhen will Samsung enable esim functionality for Galaxy S20 5G phones?
TMobile currently hasn't updated their network to allow Galaxy S20 phones to use their esim functionally. I would like an estimation (the more precise the better) of when they will be updating to allow for this functionality. I've had this phone for well over a year now and the TMobile rep I purchased the phone from guaranteed that this network update would soon allow my S20 to use esim.1KViews1like5ComentariosT-Mobile Prepaid eSIM app - one time purchase
Hello, We are traveling to the US for 14 days vacation from Europe and we would need both data and cellular services for our phones. I was looking forward for an eSim solution to avoid manipulating with physical sim cards and the T-Mobile Prepaid eSIM App seems as the only possible option (due to the cellular requirements). I found this page: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/plans-features/t-mobile-esim-app Basically everything is straightforward and as I understood it should work fine with ours iPhone 13 PRO phones right? So the question I have, is this a one time possibility to buy prepaid data&cellular esimor I am signing for some long term prepaid plan (billed monthly)? I already downloaded the app and checked the plans and the one for $35 seems ok. Oh and also, is it possible to buy andsetup the esim plan already in Europe (I have O2 Telefonica as main operator here)? I bought Iphone 14 pro in September and I moved to Indonesia. So I fully paid for my phone before I came here and when I was paying for the device, t mobile expert said that it has been fully unlocked. On my setting, it still says SIM Locked and it is not working here. I called T mobile more than 10 times, they say that it's been fully unlocked but my phone says it is still locked! I even tried to scan a new esim on the phone it says I need to contact the original carrier to unlock the phone. Every time I called all they say is the device is fully unlocked. I was even connected to Apple experts but they could not help me with anything. Apple suggested me to reset the phone, which I have tried. Now I don't know what to do. It's been more than two weeks and I'm not able to use this phone that I've paid $1000 for. Please help!!!Solved10KViews1like28Comentarios
