Hello, I had a phsycial SIM in my old pixel 4 and bought a pixel 8 a couple months ago. It gave me the option to transfer the SIM as an ESIM to the new pixel 8. I have a prepaid 10 GB plan for $40. Today I recycled some of my old phones and I don't know if that old physical SIM was still in the phone. So could someone technically use that one to connect to my network or account ? I did wipe all the data from the phone and I think it was off for at least 6 months. I also have the sim swap protection enabled now and that port out option or whatever it is called. I remember when the switch happend the old phone did not have any network connection. Just wondering if I need to do something here for protection.Solved226Visto0likes1ComentarioInquiry Regarding Prepaid eSIM Activation from Abroad
Dear T-Mobile community, I am reaching out to inquire about the possibility of purchasing and activating a prepaid line via eSIM, with a U.S. phone number, from abroad. I currently do not reside in the United States nor US citizen, but I require a U.S. phone number for certain services. I have reviewed T-Mobile website but could not find clear information on whether this process can be completed from outside the country without having to visit a physical store. Could you please provide details on the steps I need to follow or any additional requirements for acquiring and activating the service from abroad? Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to your response.103Visto0likes1ComentarioPrepaid Esim
Hi, I am planning on purchasing an esim for use during my trip to Chicago. (My first time in the USA) I want to know if I will be assigned a personal phone number using which people can call me during my stay. So does thisesim have the same functionality as a physical sim or is it used only for data? ¡Gracias!69Visto0likes0Comentariosesim

I will visit the US next week for 1 month as a tourist, I purchased the $60 monthly plan through the Prepaid eSim app on my iPhone 12 Pro, I completed the eSim purchasesteps successfully, and when the app prompted me to activate the eSim I chose not to activate and dismissed that pop up screen, because I don't want to start the plan now, I want to start it once I arrive in the US, I couldn't find a way to start activating the eSim process again without having to call T-Mobile support number, which's not possible for me, because international calls are too expensive (calling from Saudi Arabia)and I don't have a different phone with a US number to call them once I arrive (tourists usually don't have that choice). Is there a possible way to activate the eSim once I arrive in the US ?707Visto0likes4ComentariosStarting date prepaid plan - eSIM app
Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a prepaid plan via the eSim app for a six month stay in the US. I would like to purchase the plan ahead of time, so it activates on the arrival date and is ready to use when Iland. As far as Ican tell there is no way to set a starting date when purchasing the plan and it would be activated straight away. Is this the case or am Imissing something? Other providers (like for example simly) provide the option to set an activation date. Otherwise I would have to deal with this upon arrival, when i have other things to do and need a working connection right away. Also i would like to know if there is a plan, which includes a flat for calls to Europe (Germany) or at least reduced international rates? As far asIcan tell, there are only plans with flats for US calls only. Thanks for any help, best.429Visto0likes5ComentarioseSim stuck on "Activating" on iPhone from EU
Hello there! My wife is facing problems when activating her eSim for T-Mobile US Prepaid. She already chose a plan, payed, the new phone number was successfully set up but now (since 12h) she's still in the process of "Activating". I did the same and after waiting some minutes in the "Activating" process all went fine. What shod wedo now? We're currently located in Germany and will travel to US soon; I've activated using WIFI + Vodafone (as local operator), she tried with WIFI + O2-DE (as local operator); I'm not sure if/how cell towers differs to allow mine to succeed and hers to fail. I've read here and there that there might be a way to get a QR code to re-initialise the process, but I have no idea how/where to get it. Please let me know, any kind of support is much appreciated, thank you :)2.7KViews0likes3Comentarios
