My T-Mobile Home Internet is working, but I want to make a change. I use a PC and Ethernet connection. Whenever I go into the admin menu, I get the new setup menu and not the normal admin one with all the settings. I try to go through the setup, but it gets stuck at the point when I have to scan the QR on the device, it keeps failing. Then it wants me to do the Ethernet setup using the app on the phone. That doesn't even make sense, how can I connect my phone to an Ethernet port and how can I use the app on my PC when they don't make an app for the PC. (no one on their phone tech line even understands the basics of networking or telephony.) Once again, T-Mobile has be stuck. I'm a new T-Mobile 5G Home Internet customer and I'd like to connect my desktop PC directly to the modem by Ethernet cable and the included one is far too short. What's the best type of cable to use withthe current modem for optimal speeds? CAT5e? CAT6? I assume something like CAT8 would be overkill.11KViews0likes7ComentariosCable Ethernet
I have my gateway internet hooked to my smart tv with an ethernet cable. This cable was provided by tmobile in my gateway box. My smart tv has started displaying a message that my ethernet cable is not connected. It will drop the internet for a few minutes and then reconnect. I have replaced this cable and it still keeps dropping service. Any ideas on what to try next? ¡Gracias!96Visto0likes0ComentariosEthernet not talking to Wifi on Nokia 5G21 Gateway
I have aNokia 5G21 Gateway with an ethernet connection that feeds a switch in my home office. All other devices (phones, laptops, wireless printer) are connected via wifi. The gateway shows 6 devices connected via wifi, and 3 via ethernet -- that is the correct number of devices. All devices have internet, I can connect to the web interface at http://192.168.12.1from any device, but the wifi devices cannot ping devices on ethernet or vice versa. This had been working until recently. This happened one other time, rebooting the router fixed the issue then, but didn't work this time. Any suggestions on how to keep this up and stable are appreciated.94Visto0likes1ComentarioHome WiFi router wont connect to my Ricoma MT 1501 Embroidery machine
I can't get my TMobile router to work like my Cox router. When I plug ethernet cable into my T-mobile Home WiFi to my Ricoma MT 1501 Embroidery machine ethernet port, it doesn't connect. I don't have this problem with my Cox router. I am doing this so I can then send files via wifi to the tmobile router exactly the way I do with my cox router. This eliminates me from having to plug my MacBookPro directly to the MT via a long long ethernet cable, or walking over to the MT embroidery machine.66Visto0likes0ComentariosHome Internet failing
Hi everyone! I have been through hell trying to get the most consistent service using my new home internet setup. I initially hadthe grey cylinder and through some troubleshooting / research / 20+ hours on the phone with fairly useless tech support via the Philipenes, have recently gotten a second line with the Arkadian model. I just set up the new device yesterday and am extremelyfrustrated. The signal keeps dropping althoughit's in a location where it is usually "very good," itwill suddenlydropto "No Signal."Even when it is working, Iam not getting anywhere near the speeds from the grey cylinder + a TP-link wifi router that seemed to boost the signal a good bit.I usually connect directly to the black box with a good ethernet cord - that seems to have been the more reliable route but with this new model, I'm concerned that might overwhelm/overheat it. I've already fried one device so I do have a fan under the unit and am careful to keep it out of direct sunlight, away from routers/other devices, etc.Does anyone know what the best way to connect is - WiFi or Ethernet? My job relies on very consistent and fast upload bitrate so ultimately that is the goal... So far, I've tried everything I couldexcept reaching out here so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask! Dropped signal before I was able to post this originally and I'm about to lose my mind!!!Any/all advice would be very helpful - thanks!!!306Visto0likes2Comentariosethernet cable with home internet
