Family Allowances does not work for modern phones. FamilyMode is too reliant on a app to install on a child phone, that can be quickly bypassed in several ways. Turn off VPN, Turn off/on ScreenTime, etc. Is the only option really to manually switch the account from Magenta to No Data for multiple lines? I would gladly pay for FamilyMode if it even worked correctly. All I want to do, is turn off Data for 12am-6am at night.22KViews6likes26ComentariosPermiso familiar
Using family allowances I used to be able to turn sons phone off when needed, not just data, but made it where he couln't use phone at all at night. I can turn data and wifi off but need to make it where he can't make calls all through the night. This feature used to be available now it is not.Solved1.4KViews0likes5Comentariosfamily allowance messaging errors
I just downloaded family allowances app and tested it, but it doesn't seem to limit and prevent sending messages. It blocks on the other end if somebody is sending one to the phone that is being managed. Interestingly it does block sending messages to the parent phone that is managing the app, but messages are not getting blocked when sending inside or outside t-mobile. When sending a message to the phone the users are getting the blocked message. However, messages are still outgoing from the managed phone and getting received at all others. I have a messaging set to "0" allowance. Anybody noticing this? Does it make sense to block messaging receiving only but not sending, as my child would not know messages are blocked and just keep sending messages thinking nobody is answering them.218Visto1like1ComentarioHelp with kids allowance
whats is the best way to monitor my child's phone? She has been on apps that she should not be using. I have currently taken away her phone but don't like that she gets home from school and has no phone ( we canceled the landline). I need to pretty much cut off all usage of the phone other than phone calls.86Visto0likes2ComentariosPermiso familiar
I am trying to restrict the calls that a phone can take to only allow certain calls. This plan only will allow 10 phone numbers to be allowed. 10 is a good start, but who does not know more than 10 people? Is there a plan to increase that amount to say 30 or so? 10 does me no good, so therefore am not able to use it. Dementia family member with 5 kids and spouses. That is 10 right there. Not to mention friends as well as Doctor's office. This seem utterly ridiculous. Please rethink this option and allow more than 10 phone numbers. Thanks for your time.34Visto0likes0Comentarios
