Feature Request: Configure 2FA Options Available
I would like to request a feature given that Google Authenticator is available as an option for two-factor authentication. Right now, when I log in, I'm given three options for 2FA: SMS Google Authenticator Email As it stands right now, enabling Google Authenticator provides no additional security if SMS can be selected as an option. Given the potential risks of SIM swapping, SMS as a form of 2FA is useless. Users should have the ability toturn off SMSas a form of 2FA, especially if Google Authenticator is enabled.987Visto6likes5ComentariosCan't connect Google Mini to T-Mobile Home Internet
I've tried every recommendation in the book restarting the "T-Mobile" device, the mini. It will go through the entire process of adding the device and at the very end, after it's verified the connection, it suddenly says it can't connect to the network and fails the addition.6.6KViews6likes41ComentariosGoogle Assistant and Gateway internet
Curious on why my tmobile home internet gateway won't connect my Google assistant/Home devices. Is it because of competition withGoogle Fi. I've noticed when it connects to the Google server upload speeds just go to 0 like it is blocking me to senddata packets. Even tried getting on the Google Fi website and the internet did not want to let me in. So I turn off wifi on my phone and used data to get on the same site and instantly let's me in. A friend has T-mobile home internet and Amazon's Alexa and says it works fine.I tried testing the home internet with my Samsung TV plus service and said to check network connection. Ran the speed test and everything's fine untili try connecting to Samsung TV then everything drops. I thinkingbecause t-mobile wants you to get TVision. Anybody else notice or have this issue? What can be done so I can connect my Google home devices?1.1KViews4likes5ComentariosWhy is my Pixel 3 not eligible for a new SIM card?
I have been a Sprint customer for over 15 years now, with very few issues. Once T-Mobile and Sprint merged I began to see the quality of my cell service drop over time, and then Ireceived an email stating that I could come in to a T-Mobile store for a "SIM swap" to take advantage of the "T-Mobile Network Experience". When I went in to the T-Mobile store, the employee told me that he could swap my SIM card in just a few minutes. Then, after putting in all of my information he said that my phone did not qualify for the SIM swap and that I would have to upgrade to a new phone to qualify. He even showed me on the computer that the system was prompting him to tell me this. I have an unlocked Pixel 3, that I purchased outright from Google two years ago. The phone is even listed as a compatible device by T-Mobile here (https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/lte-band-compatible-devices). The employee at the store told me that Sprint towers are being shut down, and that my service will continue getting worse until I get a T-Mobile SIM card. It seems that T-Mobile is trying to force me in to spending hundreds of dollars on a new phone just to have decent service again. I feel like I'm being scammed here. Does anyone have information on why I can't get a T-Mobile SIM card for my Pixel 3? I've tried getting answers in store and through the customer service chat function online with no actual answer other than "Your phone doesn't qualify". I should be given a new SIM regardless of the phone if the merger is causing Sprint customers to lose service as the towers are being shut down. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Hello, We have a SimpleChoice North America plan, and are happy with it. I have gotten a new phone with 5G. I am wondering how that works with the plan that doesn't mention it. Will I have access to 5G? If I do, will it be capped? Is there an additional cost? If there's a cap on 5G data and I meet it, will it cut me off or charge me overage? ¡Gracias!2KViews1like1ComentarioGoogle One Billing via T-Mobile Issues
Hi, I've spent literally 3 days trying to get this fixed but when I go to start activation for the Google One 2TB + Unlimited Photos it says "You can't activate your plan with this account. To finish activation, switch to the account you used to sign up for Google One." T-Force has no resolution and Google Support says they can't help since it's billed through T-Mobile. Does anyone know how I can get this fixed I definitely do not have any other Google account at all. Google Support was useless and I just get thrown back and forth between T-Mobile & Google Support.519Visto1like8Comentarios
