Can't connect Google Mini to T-Mobile Home Internet
I've tried every recommendation in the book restarting the "T-Mobile" device, the mini. It will go through the entire process of adding the device and at the very end, after it's verified the connection, it suddenly says it can't connect to the network and fails the addition.6.6KViews6likes41ComentariosGoogle.com blocked
One of the phones on my Magenta plan has suddenly begun blocking Google.com and google searches while using mobile data, across all browsers. It allows it on WiFi. All other Google services (Google Maps, Google Play) work but not google.com or the Google search app. I removed the parental controls I had set up on it and it allows Google some of the time, but still blocks it half the time. Any suggestions here?Solved4.4KViews0likes7ComentariosCharged for 5G on Simple Choice plan?
Hello, We have a SimpleChoice North America plan, and are happy with it. I have gotten a new phone with 5G. I am wondering how that works with the plan that doesn't mention it. Will I have access to 5G? If I do, will it be capped? Is there an additional cost? If there's a cap on 5G data and I meet it, will it cut me off or charge me overage? ¡Gracias!2KViews1like1ComentarioWhy is my Pixel 3 not eligible for a new SIM card?
I have been a Sprint customer for over 15 years now, with very few issues. Once T-Mobile and Sprint merged I began to see the quality of my cell service drop over time, and then Ireceived an email stating that I could come in to a T-Mobile store for a "SIM swap" to take advantage of the "T-Mobile Network Experience". When I went in to the T-Mobile store, the employee told me that he could swap my SIM card in just a few minutes. Then, after putting in all of my information he said that my phone did not qualify for the SIM swap and that I would have to upgrade to a new phone to qualify. He even showed me on the computer that the system was prompting him to tell me this. I have an unlocked Pixel 3, that I purchased outright from Google two years ago. The phone is even listed as a compatible device by T-Mobile here (https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/lte-band-compatible-devices). The employee at the store told me that Sprint towers are being shut down, and that my service will continue getting worse until I get a T-Mobile SIM card. It seems that T-Mobile is trying to force me in to spending hundreds of dollars on a new phone just to have decent service again. I feel like I'm being scammed here. Does anyone have information on why I can't get a T-Mobile SIM card for my Pixel 3? I've tried getting answers in store and through the customer service chat function online with no actual answer other than "Your phone doesn't qualify". I should be given a new SIM regardless of the phone if the merger is causing Sprint customers to lose service as the towers are being shut down. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Curious on why my tmobile home internet gateway won't connect my Google assistant/Home devices. Is it because of competition withGoogle Fi. I've noticed when it connects to the Google server upload speeds just go to 0 like it is blocking me to senddata packets. Even tried getting on the Google Fi website and the internet did not want to let me in. So I turn off wifi on my phone and used data to get on the same site and instantly let's me in. A friend has T-mobile home internet and Amazon's Alexa and says it works fine.I tried testing the home internet with my Samsung TV plus service and said to check network connection. Ran the speed test and everything's fine untili try connecting to Samsung TV then everything drops. I thinkingbecause t-mobile wants you to get TVision. Anybody else notice or have this issue? What can be done so I can connect my Google home devices?1.1KViews4likes5ComentariosFeature Request: Configure 2FA Options Available
I would like to request a feature given that Google Authenticator is available as an option for two-factor authentication. Right now, when I log in, I'm given three options for 2FA: SMS Google Authenticator Email As it stands right now, enabling Google Authenticator provides no additional security if SMS can be selected as an option. Given the potential risks of SIM swapping, SMS as a form of 2FA is useless. Users should have the ability toturn off SMSas a form of 2FA, especially if Google Authenticator is enabled.965Visto6likes5ComentariosGoogle One Billing via T-Mobile Issues
Hi, I've spent literally 3 days trying to get this fixed but when I go to start activation for the Google One 2TB + Unlimited Photos it says "You can't activate your plan with this account. To finish activation, switch to the account you used to sign up for Google One." T-Force has no resolution and Google Support says they can't help since it's billed through T-Mobile. Does anyone know how I can get this fixed I definitely do not have any other Google account at all. Google Support was useless and I just get thrown back and forth between T-Mobile & Google Support.499Visto1like8ComentariosHow to Remove or Reinstate 2FA Google Authenticator
I am a prepaid plan user and set up a 2FA method through Google Authenticator (GA) when registering my T-Mobile account. As setting up, I received an email stating: "If you didn't make this change or want to remove this feature, please visit us here. If you have additional questions, please visit us here to message or contact Customer Care." I thought I could get help from T-Mobile if I encountered any problems with this 2FA method. Unfortunately, I lost the device that stored my Google Authenticator codes, and I don't have a backup. I want to remove or reset the GA method tied to my account. I've contacted several customer service representatives about this issue, but none have been able to help. Although I can log in to my account using a different two-factor authentication method, such as SMS, I still want to remove or reinstall the Google Authenticator method. This is because if someone gets access to my lost device, they could potentially use the GA method to sign in to my account. I have noticed that many websites, such as banks, allow customers to reinstate their 2FA methods. I want to know if it is absolutely impossible for me to change the GA settings on my T-Mobile account.412Visto0likes1ComentarioT-mobile techs clueless about Google blocking devices that are not certified by Google.
If a device isn't certified by Google, it will no longer be able to use Google apps. Apparently T-Mobile sold me a phone that is not certified by Google. The OnePlus 6T Google is blocking devices that are not certified by Google. Which basically means Google doesn't have a record of the Android compatibility test results. If you discover one of your apps is not working properly. If you hold down the app until you get options and you select app info. Select advanced options at the bottom, select app details, and get this message "this app isn't compatible with your device anymore, contact the developers for more info" Google warned that eventually all of their apps including Messages won't work on uncertified devices after some time. Or that you cannot even bring up Netflix or Disney plus on the Google app store. Chances are your phone is on the list of uncertified devices. Check to see if your phone has been certified with Google play store. https://storage.googleapis.com/play_public/supported_devices.html If anybody knows an effective way to get this resolved PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I've talked to 5 T-Mobile techs and 1-oneplus tech as well as emailing OnePlus. I seem to know more about the issue than they do. And there response seems to be deny or minimize the issue. Or suggest I give them more money by upgrading to a new phone. Why should I pay up for the negligence? 300Visto0likes3Comentarios
