Ever since my 5G gateway's firmware update I have had very inconsistent internet, especially during games. Meanwhile, I can connect my device to my phone's hotspot and have a better online gaming experience. Isn't it running on the same network? Why is my phone's internet better than my gateway? It's sad because the gateway solved a lot of problems for me in my area. It's getting to the point to where I don't do the things I like to do anymore because the experience is so bad, and I'm heavily considering going back to my original ISP. At least the bad internet would be consistent! Does anyone have a fix? Should I exchange my unit, wait for an update, or just abandon ship? I use this watch to be able to track my son's location when he's outside playing, on school field trips, etc. Airplane mode was just enabled on his watch. THISIS NOT A HELPFUL TRACKING DEVICE IF I CANNOT DISABLE AIRPLANE MODE FROM MYAPP. God forbid something bad happened and a person took his watch and put it on airplane mode, I can no longer contact him, or him contact me, or even track his location. I feel that Airplane Modeshould besomething that isa.) controlled by the app, or b.) removed from the watch completely. The sole purpose of this thing for me is tracking. I would like to get a hold of the T-Mobil spam department and not go through customer service. T-Mobil's customer support via a phone call isn't helpful when T-Mobil has internally blocked your number from sending text messages. They try to go through their checklist to fix things on my device when my device isn't the issue. I send up to 200+ messages very quickly with the same or similar messages to friends and family each Holiday. T-Mobile ends up blocking my number from sending text messages. So I can receive text messages, but I can't send them unless it is to internal T-Mobil numbers like 1112. This makes it very difficult to get any work done if I need to text someone who has text me. T-Mobil engineering department that configures Spam block has their settings creating false/positives. A number shouldn't be blocked for sending up to 200+ messages quickly over 7-8 days per year (Holidays). I am told it will be blocked for up to 10 days with me currently on the 5th day. I would understand if I did this everyday or even multiple times per week, but blasting out 200+ message on Holidays 7-8 times per year and getting your number blocked is very annoying. Annoying enough now that I am considering using another service provider even with me being with T-Mobil for the past 24+ years (same number). It would be great if T-Mobil created a web link on your account to request unblocking your number with the ability to provide an explanation. I have the G4SE router which had been working pretty well until recently. I like many others had the VPN disconnection issue that was recently fixed with the 1.03.20 firmware update. While this update did fix my VPN disconnection issue, it did introduce a brand new issue. I am able to connect to my VPN, and access my email, and internal company messaging systems like Teams. However, my internet connection is now being blocked from accessing any internal company sites, systems, or shared drivers or folders. I receive the following error message below "Secure Connection Failed" Error Code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified" I have never received this message before with any T-Mobile gateways, and it only occurred after this latest firmware update. I have tried both Wifi, and ethernet connection to the gateway. I have reset the gateway and played with somewindows settings but haven't found a solution. Has anyone (everyone?) noticed this situation: I purchased an iPhone SE at half price. The sales girl told my son that it came with a case and tempered glass. Later, I found out that the charge for the case and the glass (each $39.99) were added to my bill to be paid off in 24 months. There is absolutely no way I would have agreed to this as I barely could afford the half priced phone.We went to the store and asked about it and the rude manager said there's nothing she would do about it. Worst customer service
Tmobile became the worst customer service carrier since they became TMobile USA. The original TMobile customer service was not bad at all. The TMobile USA has the worst, I mean, the worst of all customer service of all any other carriers. Once you ported your numbers out of TMobile, that's it, they don't want to help you. They find all kinds of excuses not being able to help you. They keep telling you to call this and that, and when you call them, they told you to go to Store, etc. they keep bouncing you around until you give up calling or inquiring. Plus once your service is not with TMobile any longer, you loose the online access to billing in order to update the billing address for the credit proration.
