I've been running my work IP phone for over months with T-Mobile Home Internet with no change and all the sudden my desk phone will no longer work. WOrking with my company (we deploy this phone service) it appears that SIP/ALG may be the issue but can't find anything about disabling it on the Tmobile router. I'll need to get this resolved of will have to go back to a fiber connection.699Visto1like3ComentariosHome Internet Promo: $200 Prepaid Virtual Card (Total Joke)
Hi, T-Mobile Community! I'm hopping on to introduce myself as one of the latest suckers who foolishly fell for the $200 prepaid virtual Mastercard home internet promotion! I switched from another perfectly good internet provider after being lured in by the promo. I activated my service in August andsubmitted for the promo online in September. Icalled customer service after about 5 weeks. I was then told to expect the card near the beginning of October. When I didn't receive it, I called again and was told to expect it on November 7th, right at the 8 week mark. I did notice my status changed from "received" to "approved" on the online tracker. This morning I called Customer service and was told it's actually not approved, but "pending," and that I should check again at the end of this month because processing takes at least ten weeks. As much fun as the anticipation, uncertainty, and inconsistency has been, I think I'm going to go ahead and go back to my former provider. This whole gaslit bit is not for me. If this has happened to you, know that you are not alone!! And if you're someone who is considering switching providers for and advertised rebate orpromotion, please reconsider!182Visto2likes3ComentariosT-Mobile Internet - $200 Pre-Paid Mastercard - STILL WAITING
I switched to T-Mobile Internet over 3 months ago. The $200 Pre-paid Mastercard within 10 weeks was an incentive that led to me making this choice. It has been 12 weeks and I have not heard a thing. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am preparing to switch back to my previous provider if this is how they treat customers.9.4KViews13likes25ComentariosI wish the T-Mobile Home Internet Gateway was JUST a modem!!!
I just left Breezeline due to horrible service for over a month, and when it went out from home, my T-Mobile iPhone became my hotspot. After realizing it was more reliable than my landline Internet, I tried the T-Mobile Home Internet. I was shocked to get 700 down and 60 up, consistently, so after two weeks of successful stress testing I dropped Breezeline. With that said, here are my two main frustrations: I have a UniFi network with several APs in my home all connected to a UniFi switch and UniFi router… I am sure you can see where I'm going with this… 1) I do not need theSagemcom Fast 5688W router OR 2) its WiFi. You cannot disable WiFi on the unit, or put it into bridge mode to bypass the router. I have tried getting into the device with no luck. So now, I have a double NAT situation and the T-Mobile gateway is emitting frequencies that are going unused. This is a huge oversight on T-Mobile's end. T-Mobile, if you read these, I know a few people using your home internet, and they're all complaining of the same thing - Forums are also littered with this feedback as well - Please listen. Allow 1) Turning the WiFi radios off, and 2) bypass the gateway's routing using a bridge mode (I think that will work). This is very disappointing that it's so locked down, but with that said, I am happy with the reliability. I just would love to see some additional functionality added as I'm sure I'm not the only person using my own router or mesh system with their gateway. If anyone has any suggestions would love to hear. ¡Gracias!8.9KViews5likes16Comentarios5G Home Internet nightly slow down
Hey all, I've had the black 5G gateway for a couple days now, and have been a T-Mobile customer for just as long. I guess the issue I'm having is looking like one that a lot of other people are as well. During the day my gateway pulls about 500 Mbps and has a "Very Good" signal. Without moving or changing anything about the setup, usage area, or anything, around 8PM Eastern my speeds go down to MAX 5 Mbps. Nothing has changed other than the time of the day. I have a ticket open for the "local engineering department" to troubleshoot. It'll randomly be good during the night and then go back to the unusable 5 Mbps. I relayed this to Customer Care, and while they seem sympathetic to the plight, they ultimately just want me to continuously restart the gateway so they can reconnect it to the tower because it has "stopped communicating." Is this the common reply that everyone is getting? Restart on restart while waiting for engineers to troubleshoot your wifi, only tothen get told you need to restart to be reconnected to the tower, and then ultimately a factory default when they've exhausted their checklist?20KViews17likes63ComentariosTrouble viewing live news on Peacock.
I pay for Peacock Live so I can get my local news but now it's showing news in CharlotteNC and I'm in Yorktown, VA. our news comes from Portsmouth/Norfolk. This has been happening for over 2 weeks. I thought T Mobile was working on a work around. How can I get back to my local news and stay there? I really like the service on streaming it's so much better than we had with Verizon. Ayuda242Visto0likes5Comentarios"Secure Connection Failed" Error after 1.03.20 Update
I have the G4SE router which had been working pretty well until recently. I like many others had the VPN disconnection issue that was recently fixed with the 1.03.20 firmware update. While this update did fix my VPN disconnection issue, it did introduce a brand new issue. I am able to connect to my VPN, and access my email, and internal company messaging systems like Teams. However, my internet connection is now being blocked from accessing any internal company sites, systems, or shared drivers or folders. I receive the following error message below "Secure Connection Failed" Error Code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified" I have never received this message before with any T-Mobile gateways, and it only occurred after this latest firmware update. I have tried both Wifi, and ethernet connection to the gateway. I have reset the gateway and played with somewindows settings but haven't found a solution. Has anyone else had this problem after this update? Any suggested fixes?201Visto1like3ComentariosG4AR no internet
Hi I'm replacing a KVD21 Gateway with a G4AR Gateway because of location to use an external antenna. When I hook up the G4AR on the screen it shows 3 bars and says good connection but also shows "no internet". When I look at the Advanced Cellular Metrics in the App it does not show a Cell Tower. I'm not sure if it is because it shows Firmware version 1.00.02 instead of .09. ButT-Mobile can'tupdate the firmware without the internet connection. Thanks for any help on this.175Visto0likes4ComentariosUnstable home internet
I have been using T-mobile's home internet for a while now and at first it was fine, but for the past 3 months, I have noticed my internet disconnecting often. It happens mostly in the evening, sometimes during the day as well. However, when I check the modem, it says the connection quality is very good. This is very frustrating as I need to get things done in one sitting but with the unstable internet connection, I don't know if I want to stay with T-mobile anymore.159Visto0likes1ComentarioMy G4SE received newer firmware version 1.03.20
I finally started to wonder about a user's suggestion about (hard) resetting the router using the back button and decided to give it a whirl. To my surprise, after i was setup i checked the firmware version and it was bumped to 1.03.20 (was 1.03.19). The hard reset probably wasn't required but if people still don't get updated in a day, maybe reset to see if it gets updated after? Either way, we've been heard. Thanks T-Mobile.387Visto0likes2Comentarios
