On multiple occasions after transitioning from an international roaming networkto the T-Mobile network, I experience data connectivity issues for significant amount of time afterwards. Is there any tips on mitigating these network transition issues as they can come at quite inconvenient times where quick access to records are needed (boarding pass, reservation confirmation, email, etc). Going in and out of airplane mode doesn't help. Restarting phone sometimes helps but this shouldn't need to be constant fall-back. Interestingly, I haven't haddata connectivity issues transitioning from the T-Mobile network to International Roaming Networks.81Visto0likes2ComentariosT-Mobile's international travel plans vs eSims
eSims have gained in popularity. Our T-mobile plan includes free data while traveling in Europe (we're U.S. based) but 25 cents a minute for phone calls is expensive. Does T-Mobile have some other International plan for phone calls and how does that compare to our getting a local eSim carrier?7.1KViews0likes6ComentariosData and cell service not working in Finland
I and my husband are in Finland and woke up today to no service on both of our phones (same account). I purchased additional 5G of high speed data for the trip and both phones worked fine for 4 days, but today nothing. During 5 hours my phone connected twice to 5G for 1 second each time and got disconnected again. All trouble shootings were done, everything is on, no airplane mode on, etc. Now on the phone waiting for "one of our teams member shortly" thing for 45 minutes listening to music! It seems like I've tried everything to try and fix this slow data issue but nothing is working. I've tried calling tech support. I've tried restarting the phone but no luck. I've tried resetting the network settings but still nothing. Even got a new SIM card. This is getting so exhausting and I can't afford to get a new phone. Can someone please give me a solution so I can get this freaking internet/data to work. I have a Google pixel 6a. I also live in Alaska.415Visto1like4ComentariosOverseas Work: How to avoid T-Mobile cancelling data roaming?
I am a merchant seaman (Civilian Mariner) currently working overseas on a naval ship. I left in January of 2022 and I am currently still overseas. On April 24th i recieved a messsage to my phone stating that the majority of the last two months of T-Mobile usage has been roaming internationally. Should it continue, my roaming usage will be blocked on May 27. My phone is how i contact home, check emails, etc while overseas. I called customer support and was told to change the SIM card. However, I am frequently in different countries or regions, and that also depends on whether I even have liberty to leave the ship/base. I was then told the only other way to be exempt from blocking was if i was active duty military. I am employed by Military Sealift Command. Which means I work for the navy/department of defense but i am still a civilian and therefore not considered active duty military. I do have orders, however I am not sure they would accept them without me being a part of the "uniformed forces". Im at a dead end and need a solution.1.7KViews0likes5Comentarios
