eSims have gained in popularity. Our T-mobile plan includes free data while traveling in Europe (we're U.S. based) but 25 cents a minute for phone calls is expensive. Does T-Mobile have some other International plan for phone calls and how does that compare to our getting a local eSim carrier?7KViews0likes6ComentariosHow do I turn off call barring on outgoing international calls?
I am traveling abroad. I signed up for an international plan. I can receive incoming calls but I cant make outgoing international calls. I get an error message when I dial out. I get "outgoing calls barred". I have chatted with customer support (I cant call them) and they cant fix it. I have a Samsung Note20. I am in France and have an emergency situation and cant dial out. ¡Ayuda!6.4KViews0likes5ComentariosIncoming calls while abroad
I am going to India, but will need my mobile number to receive calls from the USA. I have a couple of questions - Will the person calling from the USA be able to call me normally, and will he/she be charged extra for the call? If I receive the call, what would I be charged? If I keep my phone on airplane mode and connect to wifi, will wifi calling work (wifi calling is free as far as I understand)? I am on the ONE plan (family plan) without any add-ons as of now.6.4KViews1like3ComentariosTravel to the U.A.E. and Amsterdam
T-mobile community challenged here. I will be traveling and don't want to get stuck with outrageous fees. Reading blogs and seeing that some folks have to get a new sim card, but if I am reading the T-mobile site correctly I should be good to go?I am on the Magenta plan and T-mobile site says that the network AND my note20 plus is compatible. How do I actually confirm this? Any insights? Thankings!5.7KViews0likes5ComentariosInternational Roaming & Rejecting Incoming Calls
If I'm out of the US traveling and someone calls me and I don't answer the call will I be charged? If that person leaves a voicemail and I don't call to check my voicemail would I be charged? If so, if I disable voicemail would it avoid me getting this charge? Or do I have to disable voicemail and remove call forwarding? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information about this. I spoke to a few T-mobile reps and some say I won't get charged and others are saying I will get charged regardless. So I honestly do not know who/what to believe! Any tips would be appreciated.4.5KViews1like19Comentariostravel to Argentina with magenta plan
Just arrived in Argentina from the US. I have a family Magenta plan. Hoping someone can help me understand what type of coverage and rates Ihave in place. When I landed in Buenos Aires I turned my phone on and it connected right away and I received and sent a text. Then I turned of data roaming and went to airplane mode because I was unsure if I was going to get charged or not. Anyone have experience with this scenario? thanks!4.1KViews0likes2ComentariosInternational Travel - What does Magenta MAX Plans Cover?
Hello, everyone! Next month, my friends and I will be traveling to Europe for about two weeks. We will be using Delta Airlines and will also be taking a Royal Caribbean cruise for one of the two weeks. The countries that we will be visiting will include: Italy Greece Croatia France I recently switched to T-Mobile last week and am currently on the Magenta Max plan. While the representative that assisted me at the store was very informative, I realized belatedly that I had forgotten to ask a few questions in regards to how my plan will keep me connected during my trip. I have done a few searches on the website, but I feel like it doesn't fully answer the questions that I have unless I am somehow overlooking it. The website mentions GoGo InFlight Wi-Fi - assuming that my flights allows me to utilize this, will it be unlimited or just one hour of usage? There would be 5 flights in two weeks, so if they all have this would that cover all flights or is there a limit to how many times I could use it? The website also says that for Magenta Max plans, I would give unlimited data and text and low-rate calling while traveling abroad for the aforementioned countries - is this true? Would there be any additional fees for using my data or texting? I am not sure how roaming works. Would I still have service during the cruise? I'm sure it may be spotty as there would be a few days at sea, but would it still somewhat work? I assume it would also have unlimited data and text and low-rate calling, but I have the same question about additional fees. And again, no idea how roaming works. Are there additional charges I should be concerned about? I apologize for the many questions and wordiness of my post. I just want to be sure I am prepared in advance. Thank you to whoever takes the time to read this and answer any of my questions!3.6KViews0likes4Comentarios
