International Pass Ripoff
I signed up for an 10-day International Pass this morning. I overlooked the option to select a start date so it defaulted to today/immediately.I called Customer Support and was told they couldn't change the start date since it defaulted to immediately. This is unreasonable and poor customer service. Be careful of gotchas.
Fraudulent Outgoing International Calls from U.S.
On my current 4/2/23 T-Mobile bill, there are THREE outgoing calls from 3/14/23 to Malaysia (10:46, 10:47, & 10:58 am). These calls were allegedly made FROM my 82 Y/O mom's iPhone (in the U.S.) and she doesn't know anyone in Malaysia. Having seen other complaints on this Community forum website, I am wondering if this is an ongoing fraud/spoofing issue that is a direct result of the recent T-Mobile data breach, or some type of phishing scam and U.S. T-Mobile customers are being targeted? I have asked my mom to review her iPhone's "Recent" calls list (outgoing) on this date for ANY proof we can present to T-Mobile to support our claim. I think at this point, a class action law suit maybe necessary.

I'm not racist. I'm not looking down on anyone. It's just hard to speak to customer service reps from out of the US. They are limited on what they can do. Half of the time what they say doesn't end up happening how they explain. They say one thing and it's wrong. I had someone give me a whole plan and saying he'd make a request to help us upgrades phones. Nothing he said was right or true. He was a manager! I spoke to someone in the US and they explained it all to me perfectly. I wasn't happy with the results but it made sense, it was accurate information. I understoodthe details and how Tmobile worked. When I had another issue, a rep again from out the US made promises. Nothing happened how theysaid it would. I called customer service again and I got someone in the states, and again they fixed everything within mins. I hate this customer service.
How do I turn off International calling entirely on my T-Mobile phone line?
Me or one of my family members accidentally dial a international number directly from contacts which doesn't go through WhatsApp or Hangouts and unknowingly goes through T-Mobile. My son called someone at their US number when they were traveling overseas. I just got a notification that T-mobile charged us $3/minute for the call… $65 for a 23 minute call between two US phone numbers. Everything I have seen here on this forum and elsewhere says this should not happen. But the customer support person I spoke with says it has always been this way. Is this true? Should I be charged for a call I make to a US number, if that person happens to be overseas?
