Is my Android asian phone blacklisted?
Hello! I have a Xiaomi (K40 gaming) phone, I've been with TMobile since 2 weeks ago without any issue, I've just inserted the SIM in my cellphone and everything went smoothly. Today in the morninrg I've noticed that I had no internet connection, the signal bars were there but no 5G nor VoLTE icon appeared. Plus, I was not able to make any phone call and SMS were not sent either. After a couple of hours, I was able to make and receive calls and SMS, but the Internet is still missing. I went to a T-Mobile store and one guy there "explained" me that Chinese phones are not meant to work in US networks, that somehow the network it's struggling to connect to the cellphone band and because of the "US situation with China" these phones usually have these connection issues and that at some point, these phones will be blacklisted. Since my phone worked just fine the last 2 weeks, I don't think these arguments are valid at all. On the other hand, I called to customer service and they've raised a report for the technical team to investigate. Is this blacklisting a real thing? Any clue on why T-Mobile restricted my service?
App: Missing devices; reset now won't connect
The app isn't listing all devices. Some devices in my internet app are disappearing. I had an unknown Switch connected so I disabled both switches until I could determine which MAC address was not one we owned. When I went to reconnect our switch, it was gone. I can't find the disabled switch anywhere in the app or anywhere in my account. Can I see disabled devices anywhere else? We were also having spotty service this evening so I reset the Gatewayand after resetting internet gateway the app no longer connects. The android phone is connected and to the WiFi but the app won't connect to it at all, just spins and asks if I want to log out. If I log out the only option I have is to attempt to re-setup the gateway device. 1st problem - how can I connect a device that was disabled but is not longer listed in the disabled/enabled list of devices? 2nd how do get the app to operate again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no success.
internet web pages are not updating
A lot of my web pages and Google/Bing search results are not updating. It's showing the same articles and posts that have the dates updating. All the websites have not been updated for the past 2-3 years. Especially my states news website. A T-Mobile service rep has told me to just download a news app rather than attempting to help me fix this problem. my Twitter is also called X for some reason now. Can you guys help me this?
One Plus 7T wont allow youtube and facebook on data
My phone won't connect to YouTube, Facebook or Outlook on data. I can get onto games and other sites. It says its dangerous to continue I click on advance anyway and then it says there is a problem. I checked Google chrome security and it's all good. Download Android internet and still can't get on. Any ideas? When I'm on wifi there are no issues and I can get onto other sites on data.
