iphone 14 pro
11 TopicsCellular data not working in Chicago area.
My cellular data (iPhone14 pro)has been going in and out and if it's even working it's extremely slow. A speed test hit a high of 20mps. My phone will show full 5Guc butnot load and and disconnect from the internet. It will switchbetween 5Guc, 5G, LTE, E, and SOS mode.Using WiFi there are zero issues. Ialso was ona Sprint plan and upgraded to a tmobile plan for "premium data". It's been this way overa month now in the Chicago area. Anyone else having these issues?86Visto1like2ComentariosiPhone 14 transfer
I recently purchased an iPhone 14 from T-Mobile. I am in the process of transferring my stuff from my iPhone 11 to the 14. Apparently, there was an update for the 14, which I am now in the process of updating. That was started 2 hours ago. Is it normal for an update to take so long? My old phone is saying waiting for the update. Gracias39Visto0likes0ComentariosLoyalty a one-way street
I've been a loyal customer for many years and mostly happy customer too even though there have been hiccups in service coverage. I just loved the quick and efficient customer service, and how the my phone worked so seamlessly when I travelled abroad. However, over the past few days, I've been having one of the worst customer service experiences with T-Mobile making me question whether my loyalty is really a one-way street! I've spent multiple hours on chat and on phone with customer service and the problems are still not resolved. It all started when I tried to upgrade the iPhone 11 in one of my lines to an iPhone 14 Pro (the line is upgrade eligible). First of all, my online account wouldn't let me make any changes online (it's been like that for a long while despite multiple appeals to fix it). So, I had to either use online chat or call in. I explained over chat but after some time I stopped getting responses and eventually signed out. Then, I called 611. I spent nearly an hour. Here, I learned about a couple of issues. First, my account is not eligible for upgrade offer of $800 off for the iPhone 14 pro. Only the Magenta Max is. So, I agreed to make that leap. However, the price for the Max plan was more than what's quoted online. I've 3 lines, and Max shows $47 ($141 for the whole plan) per line. But, on the phone, I was told it would cost me $170. I didn't get a clear reason as to why I can't get that $141 rate. Secondly, the company that I work for offers an employee discount of 15% but the rep on the phone couldn't tell me why she couldn't put that in. She was checking with a supervisor and a long time went in that. I finally gave up after about an hour as I had to step out. She said she'll have a supervisor call me back with all the information. As I didn't get any call back, I called 611 the next day. I had to explain everything again. This time I was told that the Magenta Max 3 lines for 141 is available only for new customers. For existing ones, it is 170. I finally swallowed that and agreed to make that change just to get the iPhone 14 Pro discount. Again, after spending an hour and 15 minutes, the operator still couldn't make that change. He kept saying something wrong with my account and it is blocked from making changes. After this much time, I gave up and have asked him to call me back when ready. Another problem is the employee discount. My employer's page shows 15% discount. However, I called T-Mo Work Perks line for existing T-Mo customers. I was told my line may not be eligible. In that case, can I not convert my account to a personal account and get the discount? No, then, you've to add a new line. Now I learned that is available only if I add ANOTHER NEW LINE. I already have 3. How much more do I need? Another way T-Mo screws over existing customers. Finally, after more than 2 hours with customer service on the phone and another hour on chat, I'm nowhere close to a resolution! All these started due to my need for the iPhone 14 Pro upgrade. Verizon is offering that for free with iPhone 11 trade-in along with 500 for each of the lines I'm switching. I'll be switching a total of 4 lines, so that makes it very lucrative deal for me. T-Mo is making me jump through hoops. I'm so frustrated and tempted to jump ship. The only reason I was sticking to T-Mo was because it works seamlessly when I travel abroad. If this continues, I'll finally give up T-Mo, international or not. TL; DR - 1) I want iPhone 14 Pro upgrade for free (or at least the $800 off)2) I want 3 lines for 141 on Magenta Max. Why is that only for new customers? If not possible, and it is only available for $170, then, at least give me 15% employee discount without having to add another unwanted line3) I want to be able to make changes online (Is that too much to ask? I keep getting this message that I can't make changes online! Why?!). Come on, give some reward for customer loyalty!!290Visto1like4ComentariosCheapest second line available
Does anyone know if you can add a second line to your T-Mobile phone for less than $30? Is it possible to add a "watch or tablet" line to your second esim for $10 and just use the talk and text? When I try to add a second line to my phone the cheapest plan is a Magna plan but I wouldn't need data so it seems like an expensive option. I tried unlocking the phone but I can't because the phone is under a promo and it's not worth paying off the phone as it would cost me $400-$500 in promo money. I can get another provider for $9 but can't because it's locked. There are some posts on being able to pay off your phone and continue to get the promo paid out. I spoke to T-Mobile today and they said that if you pay it off there is nothing left for the promo to pay off so it just ends. I'd do the DIGITS line but I have no data service in my area so it's unreliable. Any help appreciated.89Visto0likes0Comentariosiphone 14 text messages with attachments fail to send to non-iphone, non T-Mobile phones
I upgraded my perfectly functioning iphone 11 to the iphone 14 Pro. In the beginning, any text message to non-iphone failed to send. After many, many, many hours with Apple TS and T-Mobile TS, now I can sendtext messages that send to non iphone, non T-Mobile phones. However, any text with any type of attachment (contacts, photos, article links) fail to send to non i-phone, non T-Mobile phones. I have been back and forth between T-Mobile and Apple and both point the finger at each other. The problem has not been solved by a new e-Sim card, repeated restarts, settings changes, network resets. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, were you able to solve it? Apple and T-mobile TS obviously do not have a answer other than "Not our fault."721Visto1like6ComentariosIs iPhone from magenta plan sim locked?
Hi guys I have magenta plan and I want to trade my iPhone XS to get a new iPhone 14 Pro. Do you know if the new iPhone will be sim locked? Or sim locked for some months? Can I switch the T-Mobile number (on esim only) with an Italian number with esim? I preordered an Iphone 14 pro 256gb on September 14. It said it was going to be delivered on September 16 and today is September 30 and still no news. I spoke with a representative which said that I can expect the phone on October 21 which I find ridiculous considering the date of the preorder and the original date I was given. Extremely frustrated…. Anyone else having this issue? Seriously so upset that I am considering switching companies (after 9 years of service) because of the lack of communication.73Visto0likes1ComentarioOrder on Hold
Long Story short: Last week Friday I visited the T-Mobile store and ordered 6 iPhone 14 Pros on the Buy one Get $700 offer by adding 3 new lines and upgrading 3 existing ones. The transaction required a down payment of $5724 so I put in my Chase debit card details for the payment but the card was not being accepted so I put in another bank's debit card which did not have enough funds to cover the $5724 but the store person assured me that the card will be charged when the phones are shipped out, and as the estimated shipping dates were far away I thought I will arrange the funds before the shipping dates. Cut short to Monday, I get a message from T-Mobile that the transaction was not processed as there was an issue with the payment, I was not expecting such a quick shipment so I did not fund the account till that time soI guessed that as there were not enough funds in the account this might have happened. I call the customer support and tell them to change my card details and on call they asked me about the card details and I gave them the Chase debit card details which originally was not being accepted and the expert assured me that the payment method was updated and the transaction would go smoothly. 2 days later after no activity from the bank and the order status still on hold I call T-Mobile again and they tell me that the Chase card details that I put in on the last call was not valid, even though on the last call the expert assured me that the payment method was updated. So now I tell them to again update the payment method and I put in the card details of the bank which I had originally put in the store (I made sure that the account has the amount of money this time for the transaction), now they again assure me that the payment method is updated. But even after 2 days I still see no activity in the bank account and the order is still on hold. I am afraid that if the order is cancelled then I wont be able to use the Buy one get $700 offer as the new lines will be expired. I am extremely frustrated and concerned about this issue. Any kind of help will be helpful. Gracias.1.2KViews0likes1Comentario
