When I'm connected to WiFi, I am not receiving group texts that include one Android user. Additionally, I'm not receiving web-based texts (such as server alarm notifications) when there is an issue. However, when I disable WiFi and switch to cellular data, I receive all of these messages immediately. My carrier is T-Mobile. I've tried basic troubleshooting, but the issue persists. After iOS 18 was made available, I had downloaded the update on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was anticipating trying out the RCS messaging feature, I discovered right away that it isn't allowing rcs messages to be sent or received. in order to try to resolve the issue I went and searched for solutions. I have tried, restarting the phone, toggling on and off airplane mode, and resetting network settings. NONE of these solutions worked. last thing I did was I checked for a carrier updated and it is up to date. I further checked the IMS status and it shows that only voice and sms is allowed, and RCS is missing. knowing that is under E-SIM, I knew it had to do with T-mobile. I have called T-Mobile customer care 3 times. the first call, they weren't knowledgeable on the subject of RCS. eventually I was transferred to a "Tech Specialist" that created a trouble ticket. a second call to see If I could get a knowledgeable customer service rep and I was referred to Apple suspecting it was a software problem. Apple refers me back to T-mobile stating that they don't have control over the RCS working on the network and that is the issue of T-Mobile. attempt 3 with T-Mobile consisted of deleting my E-SIM and downloading a new one, which did not fix the RCS unavailability fiasco. I was suggested that I do a factory reset or a settings reset but at this point I don't think this the problem. So, I recently decided to trade in my iPhone 11 for the iPhone 14 Plus. They sent me the materials to mail it in, and I followed the instructions. The only issue I'm having is with the shipping label. I thought the label they sent was for the package, but I went to two different places, and they told me it was just my home address label. I'm not sure what to do because I need to send this phone back as soon as possible. I checked the website and found information in the contact and support section about printing a shipping label, but nothing happened when I tried to print it out. Recently switched to Tmobile, another family member got an iphone, I had to get a Galaxy, and now we cannot send or receive picture messages from one another. I went to the store and they said " they were having tower issues" but when I called customer service it showed no issues. They suggested using a different messaging platform…I don't have time for that and my family member barely can use the messaging app let alone another thing to remember.
